He vanished after I told him I was busy w/ Finals!

My friend Who I have feelings for texted me and said: I was missing in action! And he missed me, he also puts a sad face! I responded to him by saying: I was occupied with my academics , work and my personal life, but I told him I was righ here( meaning available to talk via text in the meantime)! I told him I hope him and his family have a good holiday! .......at that time I was very busy with studying for finals . Est then he hasn't texted. Me at all which I was surprise about ! I meant to also say I found out via facebook! He is now dating a girl in our hometown ! She is really different from me!which I felt he should of told me being that he said he thought our friendship had a great understanding that he felt should lead else where! So I never received the update news! So I can admit right now I'm distant but also busy with school... But he disappeared on me! Btw I'm a Pisces, he is a Cancer!

Yeah, the personal life comment was what would have me go MIA too. Everything else fine, but using personal life? Yeah, I'd be gone. I may come back after awhile or a few months but I'd be moving on along. I'd probably take it more like rejection or a hint that you're not interested. Usage of the words personal life to me is used when you're not close with someone or you don't trust/know them enough that you don't want to really get into details about things outside of surface convos. You may not know him that well, but if he's trying to build something with you he's going to want you and he to start building that trust. Honesty and openess with me is huge.
