How does an Aquarian forgets a Cancer?

Recently..my cancerian gf broke up with me because her parents didnt approve our marriage. And she chose her family as a priority and broke up with me. I have tried everything to make this work but everything failed. Suddenly, all those talks regarding Cancers doing everything for their loved ones...stopped making sense.

Anyway, how do I forget her? As an air sign like me im finding it difficult to erase her thoughts completely...its been few weeks. And i see her everyday at office which is also creating a bit of problem. I can not go on like this as im deeply in love with her.

Please any pointers would be good.

P.S. - why do i keep getting attracted to Cancerian woman? This is my 2nd girlfriend who is cancerian...

For me, even if my family didnt approve my choise of partner, i would do what my hart says. So i would chose my partner ( in my life i had to make that choise once)

Aww I love this forum! My aqua ex and I broke up over a year ago and we’ve stayed present in each other’s life every single day via social media and location sharing. We recently started talking again daily and it’s been very nice. So there’s still hope. Try not talking to her for as long as you can. I think that’s what made the biggest difference for us. We needed that space.

A cancers family is #1 even if their dogshit, they may be creating an ultimatum for her like .. if you date him you’ll shame us or we’ll never speak to you again kinda thing. As for her I’d focus on something else, see other people or maybe even try and gain her families favour. My mom didn’t agree (and never did) when I dated my Aquarius but I told her off and moved in with him. I still talked to my mom though during the relationship so I didn’t completely break it off with her.
