How does cancer feel about ( FWB)

Hello everyone! I'm new here and I'm having a blast reading all of the posts. I was wondering how do cancers feel about friends with benefits. Reading so many posts. I haven't noticed any posts on this topic. Is it something they can be involved in or are they only interested in long term commitments. I was wondering if the friends with benefits would be easier to handle because there are no strings attached and no feelings involved. I would love to here from both male/female cancers.

Cancer Sun/Gem Rising/Sag Moon/Gem Venus. I can't do FWB. My feelings get too involved. I become attached to who I sleep with after a bit. I tried once, yeah no. It was coming out of my divorce with a man I dated briefly. If I could see myself at any point doing FWB now it would be with an ex and well after the fact. That would be a leap tho too because once the mental switch has been shut off, I never go back to my exes in any form outside of friendship.

It sounds pretentious but it's true... I'm a pisces/cancer sun/aries. I used to only date people visiting or temporarily working in my city to avoid this. I was working in another city for 3 months and had a fwb with this guy. When I went home he came to visit once, then ended up moving here!!! It wasn't just for me but you get the idea...

Okay, Ima gonna bite. Complicated in too much? Or holy cow, she's no text book— lol

I find it very hard to find a man, let alone one with patience enough to handle me AND let alone one who can fully get me..there's a lot to get, I'm sure you've gathered. I 'seem' like an easy book to read, but really I'm not. Half the time I don't understand myself, so I depend on someone to get that about me and be okay with that AND too that they are going to scratch their heads with me on a daily basis...... because I'm a walking contradiction, sigh.

I need spice, can't stand stagnant, but want and have to have stability and reassurance; need lots of space, but can't stand when my partner requires too much space of their own.... but can't stand clingy men, dominant, bossy or telling me what to do, I'll do the opposite just to spite ya and it's not beyond me to cut off my ear to spite my nose just to prove no one controls me yet I will do anything to prove or show my love, including at times being too giving, willing, agreeable, and I suppose a doormat because when I love I love hard, and am loyal to a fault.... but don't play games, just don't be easy either....and need someone who can sit down and have a full on deep conversation, but can change subjects at the drop of a hat and understand that it's not because I'm flighty, it's just my mind working overtime. And, I hate my Venus. It has done more damage than good. Would change it in a heartbeat. I'm sure you can guess why.

Funny you say that maybe there's some other purpose. Honestly, that's how I've always felt. Like I have a purpose to serve, do, mission. In terms of rels, I always seem to effect my now exes in a way that later on they've told me they've learned a lesson with me? And regret so much things that they did or didn't do, and never want to carry into another relationship. Hard to explain.

Anyway... on the love end even moreso I sometimes feel that I can't seem to 'make things' work for a long, forever and ever amen time with someone, that I was someone bad in another life and am here to learn that Karma lesson lol Like I was a prostitute that ruined marriages, or that I was a Queen and cared about no one but myself—LOL Something, but I'm ready to find that love and man 🙂...thought I had, but no. Still a hopeless romantic, and wishful thinking, but life goes on right? So if you do know where to direct that aura of my hot mess of astrological signs, or my life's path lead me the way haha

I think it's cool that you did that. I was that way when I was younger, when I didnt feel inhibited to have to think, and just do. I do miss those days, but wouldnt give up my children for anything. I feel the same way too, about that person coming soon...I can feel it, and for some reason Feburary sticks in my head. Like that is the moment when someone is going to come into my life, or something major good is going to happen. I will keep my fingers crossed for both of us. May be superstitious, but that's they way I roll lol

I can't do the whole FWB thing. I think it's pointless and damaging to the soul (at least for thsoe who have weak, fragile souls like me for example.) and quite frankly.......it's cheap. *shrugs*

I am not a fan of it. I think it does more harm than anything else. One person will get attached and hurt in the process.

I've done it a couple times but once i fell for the guy and that ended bad, I never took either situation seriously and ended up feeling like a ass. With one guy, i broke his heart and didnt know it, i found someone that was serious about me "My Cappie" and never contacted the other again"which was also a cappie" . He STILL texts me, knowing i have a man and dont care and i told him it will just never ever be... Too emotional for me. Just cant do it.

I really did have to kiss alot of frogs before i met my prince, He is a true Cap, a complete gentleman. i wouldnt trade him for anything. Hes the best lover,best listener,understanding, cleans,cooks, we take care of each other and mae one hell of a team. My kids adore him and hes a straight up all around awesome guy. I got lucky. Thats way better than any FWB, Its exactly what i need. Sweettttt sweeeeeeeeeeeet stability, yummmm

idk... I think Cancers are naturally passionate in the bedroom... it's a given. Water can tap into what you want and pleasing the other is a turn on.

BUT when there are feelings involved other factors come into play. Nervousness, shy... it can take a minute to open up and really let go because we care about you and your opinion is very important. There is passion and the intensity of emotions.

In a FWB situation, it's just about sex so right away you can be more adventurous, push limits, find the others hot spots, improve your skills... stuff like that.
Why have sex if it's not going to be pleasant? Both can be pleasant in a different way.

Having said that, I did FWB for a short stint of my life because I didn't want a relationship.. but I wanted to enjoy being young and single. I never, ever caught feelings with anyone during that time.

Let me try to answer you. Ive been in a FWB Type of relationship, I say "Type", because we just fool around, never had sex, for the past 2 years with a guy I work with. He seems perfectly fine with this type of a relationship, but I do sometimes get the feeling that when he starts to develop feelings, he would go MIA, or avoid and ignore me. I have learned to cope with this, by not running after him, and he would always come back. We are good friends, and no one else is aware of the benefits side of our relationship. I try to keep it just as FWB, but I do sense sometimes he wants more. He would ask questions to see how I will react, test me ect.Cancers live in their feelings, and in my opinion this type of relationship is difficult for them to handle, as they can't keep their feelings out of it. He also gets jealous at times, which to me suggest that there are feelings involved.in my opinion, this type of relationships for Cancers are difficult, and they eventually fall for the other person, which could cause problems.
