I Met this Cancer Man Online...

...and I can't decipher his actions. I met him on a dating website and he originally wanted to be my friend, then he said that he wanted to be friends with benefits, then he told me he was engaged. I told him I couldn't see him anymore and he didn't contact me for a while. This happened in February.

Fast forward to April, he finds me again on the same dating website and talks to me again. He tells me that he would love to see me again, and that he wants me to text him. I talk to him a little bit and find out that his fianc? left him. A little later he tells me that he wants me to go to his house to distract his friends from his ex, so he could spend time with her...

I keep telling him that I can't see him anymore, but he pesters me. He keeps texting my name. I finally respond. Then last Thursday he asked me if I could see him because he was having problems with his ex. I said no.

Then he texted me a few times after that day just saying "Hi" and then "How's it going?" and then not responding afterwards. What is up with this guy?

Do you think that it's me who is confusing him?
