Is this Cancer guy playing around with me?

So my guy friend(birthday July 9) at one point started calling me nicknames (baby, bae, etc) then he stopped. He recently asked if I could see myself dating him. I told him right now I don't know(he moved away 2 years ago and we reconnected in October) but when we lived in the same state yes.He then said back then he didn’t see our personalities matching and that now his only problem would be long distance (we used to live in the same state). He’s also asked what I’d name my kids and why I want them and what I look for in a husband. He also said if I moved to his state he’d want to move in together but he said he’s looking for a girlfriend.. I’m supposed to visit him in a few months but if he gets a girlfriend before then I’m not going. Do you guys think he’s playing around with me or what? What do you think?

When he asked if I saw us going out I said I did when we lived in the same state. But since we don't now and I haven't seen him in two years I didn't know.
