Letting Go

So I have a nice Cancer friend, he's really sweet and understanding. Very charming to girls around him. He's in a relationship now with someone he really cares for and love, but I am noticing that he has a hard time letting go of his Ex. To me I think he should leave her in the past because, she's an Ex for a reason. Plus she really wasn't nice to him. I confronted him on this and he told me not to worry they are just friends. So my question is..Is this a cancer trait?, Do you guys hold on your Ex?. IF so why?

I Am guilty for that too. Me and my first ex husband (taurus) are still friends, we have known each other for almost 16 years. We were married 4 years and had two kids. But honestly we really are JUST friends. Although now i am with Mr.Ceribdis, they are better friends. They actually talk and bullsh*t everyday. Weird how that worked out.

My recent ex (scorpio/sag) i was with almost 6 years, and even though he wasnt the greatest guy and always cheated. We could always talk,and he would always keep my stuff secret. Its a problem with my current relationship. I Just talk to him about baseball and politics. But i am realising i need to cut the cord already. I Dont know why. Hell, i still have my favorite barbies from 18 years ago! I really gotta learn to LET GO! lol

Definitely hard to let go. We Cancers are rooted in the past. I still think about my Ex, but not in that way. I still care about her and want the best for her. But do I want to have a relationship with her, hell no.

I wouldn't worry about a Cancer talking to an Ex. Especially if they care deeply for you. Realize that if we cared for someone at some point, we will most likely always care for them to some degree.

No, I never keep in contact or even hold a conversation with, maybe a "Hey" but thats about it.

Gosh I haven't come back to this post in a while thanks for the info I just met a nice cancer tonight. I will see how that go the guy cancer that i posted about is my friend.
