Moon in Cancer

Anybody who has Moon in Cancer and your thoughts on how you handle being too sensitive?

I have Moon in Cancer and I'm very emotional and can get upset easily --- feels like I'm all alone and no one can understand me.

Natal chart: Sun Gemini 7H - Moon Cancer 8H - Mercury Cancer 8H - Ascendant Scorpio.

I never feel I'm all alone and no one can understand me because I don't really want anyone to fully know me, or "understand me". I'd feel all naked. Aren't Crab moons privacy junkies?

Initially I too thought it was insecurities but it has more to do with the feeling that you've got nothing left to yourself. Like, if people knew all aspects of me I'd feel like I lost my identity or sense of self, to them.

This Scorpio moon loves your emotions.

Don't stop emoting.

People stayin the fuck away from me always helps my Cancerianness. Leave me on the hidden side of the Moon reclusively to myself.

I get you... yet, I argue that's connected to our susceptibility to get attached. We realize that once we get attached, we might lose ourselves. Therefore, we keep a distance.

We should stop thinking that a serious relationship ends in emotional attachment. You know we're prone to overdo it a little. Identity is preserved when codependency is avoided.

I also believe it feels right to be fully known by a person you really trust. 🙂

You have a gem sun. I understand that it might not be always easy. I have a gem moon and most of the times I feel that my moon is constantly throwing away emotions. Gem and cancer and inconjunct. Balance is needed. If you learn to accept both energies you can become very balanced despite their differences. It just needs acceptance, don't reject either side.

Haha he just got married with the most balanced aqua sun gem moon girl. Last weekend he was super stressed because he had to do a long flight this week for work. He hates to fly, gets super anxious and he was flying because of a really contentious issue. We spent the Saturday afternoon together and honestly I got home at 9pm and went straight to bed. He drained all the energy out of me. 😵

I have this moon placement too 🙋🏻 Usually, I buy myself really good food watch movies, Animes, documentaries,etc. this is when I occasionally cave in and just drown in my sorrows (cries) until it's all over. Also, when I get like this, I tend to push people away and even delete my social media. So, nobody can contact me. Otherwise, I keep my emotions in checked by regularly going to the gym. 💪🏻🙌🏻 But it's always so hard trying to maintain a facade in front of people when I get my mood swings. I confuse a lot of people!! 😪
