Newbie saying Hi!

Hi there folks!

I??ve been lurking in these forums for awhile now reading everything, so I decided it might be the time to "officially" say hi and jump in. I found this site first time quite long ago, trying to google astrological explanations to why my relationships with women always suck. 😄

Since then I??ve visited here every once in a while to check anything interesting. During this winter I??ve been around here more and more so now it's time to start writing too, and not only lurking and reading.

I'm a 30-year old cancer guy. Actually writing here is part of my ongoing process of trying to learn to live with myself. I mean, I??ve always been one of those guys, who are silent and darkminded. putting it to astrological terms, I have a bit difficult 3rd house stellium, which somehow makes it tremendously difficult for me to express myself. I can go on and on about a subject that I know something about, but telling something about ME, well, that feels very awkward. So writing personal shit here is kinda part of a larger process in my life, a process of trying to learn to express myself outwardly, instead of internalizing it ALL.

So, in that perpective, Hi ya??ll! 😄

You are right on the spot, actually first I tried "Stillwater", but that was already taken. 🙂

And no, I don't mind sharing my chart, but I'm not at home right now so that will have to wait untill later in the evening. (I'm from northern Europe, and here it's early afternoon now.) But is there something in spesific you wanted to see, or just the chart in general? Cause I probably might be able to answer if you something spesific in mind.

Putting it shortly, stllium = 4 planets in same house or sign. The impact on the chart then is that it gives individual an over-emphasis, or major difficulties, in dealing with the business that concerns that sign or house.

So in my case, 3/4 of those stellium planets are in scorpio. As the 3rd house deals with communication and siblings among other things, stellium in 3rd house in scorpio has blocked my every attempt of self-expression in my life, and it's just now that I'm slowly finally beginning to be able to express.

To break it in pieces, stellium in 3rd house = huge emphasis on communication, stellium in scorpio = huge emphasis on privacy and internalizing vulnerable feelings. -> stellium in 3rd in scorpio = I don't have a clue how to communicate my feelings in my everyday life. 🙂

A stellium is when you have 3 or more personal planets in the same sign/house.

MoonArtist, that would have been solid advice otherwise, but that email address is long gone also. Well, luckily imgur came to rescue!

Starchild63, stellium is 4 different planets in 1 same sign or house. So if you look at your own chart, if you can count 4 planets that are in the same sign, i.e. in Sagittarius, then you have a sagittarius-stellium. Or theres 4 planets in same house, then you have "that house" -stellium. You can look at a pic of my chart which should be in this message if I don't screw something up, and you??ll see that I have 4 planets in 3rd house. So that's a 3rd house stellium then.

Oh, and a disclaimer: Please do bear in mind that I really don't know how accurate any of this is, since I'm not professional or even amateur astrologer, just a random guy with random subjects of interest.

And oh wow, if 3 planets is enough, but those have to PERSONAL planets, then actually I don't have stellium in 3rd, but instead I do have it in 11th?

Ha! Seems that getting a pic loaded on here is going to prove to be an exercise in futility.

I don't know, a couple of your planets are just barely in another sign, so not sure if that makes the stellium less strong? You definitely have enough in those 2 houses, but not enough planets in the same sign in that house. I have a scorpio friend who has 4 planets in scorpio and they're all in the 8th house. Definitely what I'd call "the bases are loaded"!

That's interesting, it really might be so that the different signs make it easier to deal with.

When I read about stelliums in 3rd or in scorp, the worst case scenarios in those descriptions were always way off for me, and I found more familiar traits when reading the not-so-worst-case scenarios. I had thought that it was because the stellium is loosely spread, the websites seemed to imply that tighter the orbs, more intense the effects.
