I think Cali is out of the places I'm looking into relocating, as of now. I do lashes and it would be very difficult to start fresh out there with the little bit of cash I do have, as a single momma. Thanks a lot for your feedback 🙂

I would look at finances. What kind of expenses you can handle. A move from TX to Cali would be a huge jump in COST of everything. Now if you moved from TX to Atlanta or Florida it might be an easier transition.

So that's the first thing I would look at, can i survive wherever im moving.

I've never had the feeling of Home here in TX. I lived in NY for a year moved back, because of expenses. Now I want to move again. However; it's a bit more difficult, I have to make sure that wherever I move is somewhere that's affordable, home feeling, and great opportunity with the beauty industry. I don't want to hop around from place to place with my little one. I just feel so trapped here in TX, and yeah there may be great opportunity, I don't feel happy. I understand happiness is found within yourself, but I just feel that it's a dead end for me out here. It's not home for me. Its hard to explain the feeling much more than I'm already trying. But it's time to go, and I think it's best I do it while my little one hasn't started school out here, you know? Have you maybe ever felt this feeling before?

No to ATL? Why is that? I'm in Dallas, TX. You two might actually like it. I mean it's not a bad city. The skyline is pretty, but it's just not home to me. Born and raised here and I've always wanted to leave. It's not bad for single moms, but just relocating, meeting new people, maybe even a nice beach would be more home feeling to me. Also my Mom lives here, and helps out so much by letting my little one and I stay with her; but in order for me to grow I must spread my wings. When I lived in NY I was so much more ALIVE and independent feeling, because I wasn't under my mommas wing. It's just so ridiculously expensive out there and I was so young. Austin is a cool city here in TX.

Single mom of 2. Left Florida for Atlanta & was just talking to my Bff tonight about maybe trying TX. Ppl I know prefer fl or atl over cali. I know that bc I wanted to try cali but was urged not to.
I'm in the same boat. Definitely wouldn't vote for atl.
Curious to know what region/part of TX you're hoping to leave & why you don't find it conducive to mom life?
