universal Ma+Pa combo

I'm supposed to be the universal Dad, a Capricorn. I've got all the right characteristics (otherwise I'd think astrology was a bunch of hogwash wouldn't I? You don't learn something that's got no use- my psychology teacher said that!) and while I'm not positive this new person in my life is a Cancer, I would like to know what all of you Cancers in this room think of Capricorns. (and maybe Pisces too, since that's my ascendant and I definitely spend plenty of time with my head in the clouds!) I would ask her what she herself wants, since I don't know her very well, but she already insists that there is no one better than me. (something that I have a very hard time believing) I'm also very indecisive myself for a whole bunch of reasons. (calling her is long distance and my parents probably won't like that, I've had worse luck with girls than you can possibly imagine, my parents likely will somehow find some way to get in the way as always-- and that's just from my end-- she says she won't mind driving an hour to see me when she can drive on her own but she must have her own issues, I just can't see any right off)

Obviously astrology interests you or you wouldn't have been researching your ascending sign, etc. I'm sure not all psychology teachers would agree with the opinion of yours. There's definitely a lot to it. Capricorns are one of Cancer's most compatible signs (being directly across on the chart wheels). Sounds like you're looking for a way to meet up with this girl. You can purchase calling-cards at convenience stores, so if you phone her the charges won't show up on your parent's bill. I'd suggest talking on the phone for a while before you meet-up (if you haven't already). You can weigh compatibility quite a bit with a long phone conversation. As for your parents, you may want to sit down and have a "please don't interfere" convo! I find that most Cancerians are very drawn to Capricorns. Good luck.

There's one more question, before I start trying to get to know her, that I'd pretty much like ANYBODY's opinion on, but since she's a Cancer then probably a fellow Cancerian opinion would be best. Is it a bit strange to date someone you've met online when you're 17? But anyway, I suppose soon I'll have to call her soon and see what happens.

It is me, Star! Sorry, can't help as far as being a Cancer...(sometimes think I am a Cancer-Wanna-Be, if that helps at all! LOL)

OK...as far as the question...there are more and more people meeting online and then deciding to meet in person...it is the wave...age is not a factor in any way at all...the net has just opened new doors for all of us!
And, I, for one am grateful for it!

I think in this day and age, it is perfectly normal.
