HELP! How do I impress a Cancer? Please respond!

I just met this wonderful Cancer man and he is intelligent, yet very timid and sensitive. What do Cancers look for in people and how do I impress a Cancer? I think he likes me, but I am not sure as he has given me mixed signals.

What qualities do you Cancers look for in people? Somebody said he is an elitist, but is it more important that I try to impress him with material goods, or if I am sensitive and kind?

Please, I am open to all suggestions. I look forward to your responses very much!

Being a Cancer, I think the best way to impress them is with your honesty and sincerity. We are romantics, even though we sometimes show a hard front--just like a crab -- hard shell on the outside but all soft and mushy on the inside...Good Luck!

Food is a way to start...find out what he likes and invite him over and make it for him...food is not really the way to a man's heart...but, it is an ice breaker...
The Cancer I was with liked to cook and enjoyed it when I cooked for him...

Being a cancer male, I appreciate honesty and truth. Material things don't matter as much as the character of the person. Trust is a big issue for a cancer, and if he can trust you, you will see him come alive in all aspects of life. He will share everything with you in a very, loving, nuturing way. Proceed with caution, as cancers are very sensitive and easily bruised. You can exprect a great friend, loyalty, nuturing, sensitive and trustworthy relationship with this guy, If and ONLY if he trusts you.

my personal thought is 'be funny!, all you need is some careful intelligent humour and you're set, that is if he recognizes a spark there, if he's an elitest fair enough but most cancers i know including myself are very don to earth at heart, some might even say what ever they appear to be other then down to earth is all an act,
most of us are even quite rebellious and alternative one might say.

I've fell in love with a Cancerain and just recently travelled to the other side of the world to be with him. They do want you to be honest but most of all they want you to show them how much you care and how much you can and are willng to do for others. Its the little things that count with them.
