Watery charts.

I have a very watery chart and for a very long time; I thought that's special for some reason.. until I stumbled upon this list.

it's a list of celebrities with water dominant charts (some of them don't even have a water sun sign). I'm 47% water and if I was in that list, I wouldn't even be in the first 50 pages!

Anyway, thought that's interesting enough to share.

How do you work out these percentages?

I couldn't care less about celebrities... Its not a contest who has more. lol Of course theres always going to be someone who has more or some extreme.

I got 5 planets in Water and 4 planets in Earth... A planet in every Water/Earth sign except Pisces. 12th house Moon, 4th house Neptune. Only 1 planet in Fire and Air. You can call me mud.

All my aggressive planets are in water - Sun Mars Mercury Saturn Pluto. I seem to attack emotionally and live very passionately. Emotionally my softer planets are in Earth Asc Moon Venus Neptune. Im a practical dreamer. Im not all spacey but at the same time Im a complete airhead.

From having energies coming from all over the place Im a Jack of all traits, a master of none.

Bommy how watery is your chart? You failed to mention it. 47% means nothing... Aspects come in account and so do house placements. Whats this magical 47% come from?

Of all the people I know personally, my dad has the most watery chart: 51.7% water

Sun in Scorpio (12th house)
Moon in Pisces (4th house)
Mercury in the 12th house
Venus in Scorpio
Jupiter in Cancer
Saturn in Scorpio (12th house)
Uranus in Cancer

It really shows, too. He seems like an equal blend of all three water signs.

There's this 19 year old who comes to a chatroom I visit...Scorpio Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter. And theres two of them cause hes a twin. Hes a pretty nice guy.

Doesn't Act like a Scorpio at all thats the funny part, and ALL 6 planets are in his 4th house.

That list is pretty extensive. They all make my 61% look like plain 'ole run-of-the-mill.

Strange, I have 47% too....

we have very similar charts I remember, both of us are scorpio moon cancer venus.. I'm not sure what the rest of your chart looks like.

I took my percentage from astrotheme.

astrotheme calculates things a bit differently. I'm (apparently) 66.9% water using the astrotheme formula and 47% using the astro.com formula.

that's very interesting. You only have pluto in scorpio and scorpio is the second most prominent sign for you. You don't have water in any of the major placements other than Merc in Pisces but you have 32% water .. that's actually surprisingly high for your chart.

Believe me I would be a bit happier with more water or Earth on my chart. All that air and fire mixing together produces an incandescent rage inside that simmers uncontrollably. I have learnt to control my temper, when I was younger ha that was another story 😛

I can't recall specific examples. But you just don't seem stereotypically soft and cuddly for the exemplars, or conversely one of those "batshit insane" negative cancer types.

BK, for instance, exhibits both such extremities.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't exhibit those things because it's not me. I am fairly consistent in my behaviour and not particularly moody either.

I think you have a nice chart to be honest, any more earth/water it would've created an unreasonably conflicting set of energies. I think a combination of More air/less water kind of gives you the best of both worlds. Even when you mentioned your temper a few posts ago, It immediately struck me. Cancer's don't have tempers, that's an aqua thing. We have moods and mood swings and i'm pretty sure you can tell the difference.

You're probably one of the few cancers I've met who can "handle" pure air/fire people and its not that common between cancers. Second close would be acrab, but I think he needs someone with minimum dose of water/earth.

Tbh, people with heavy water placements scare me. It feels like you are drowning and can't breathe and someone is pushing your head further into the water. I can deal with water signs with airy/fiery placements but not pure water signs. I do ok with air signs but our similar attitudes to emotions kind of mean that nothing truly works out. That said, I do get along well with Librans and I find aqua women enchanting because of the way they think. It's just different. I do best with fire signs but I do find some of their impulsiveness slightly worrying at times. I think you got a pretty good handle on me there in your post! Cheers 🙂

I honestly think you would do best with someone with the vaguest water placements. Two water placements is too much for you, earth mars is a big no and scorpio sun/scorpio moon/venus in scorpio should be a huge fuck no. Other than that, you've got all the choice.

Why not earthy mars? I am actually beginning to like this girl who is a Virgo Sun/Libra Moon and Venus/mars in Capricorn. Now you have ruined it 😛! I agree with the scorpio assessment, they are not my type, I really don't do well with them.

I always thought that an earthy girl with a lot of fore or air or vice versa would be nice as I lack Earth in my chart.

I see how that can be misread, she has moon and Venus in Libra. She only has mars in Capricorn. 🙂

If you like her incandescent, go for it. My mum is a cap with a virgo moon and she has been with her boyfriend, a gemini with a libra moon for over 10 years and counting. I don't believe that because two people are very different it equals incompatibility at all. That would be far from the truth from what I've seen.

^^Yeah, your ascendant is Leo and mine is Libra but I think that gets offset somewhere else and it leaves us with similar charts from the perspective of energies. That said, the similarity of our charts is really amazing. I am a male version of you or you're a female version of me whichever way you see it. It's intriguing 🙂.

Using the cancer female population in this website, I think its fair to say there are many airy/firey cancer women out there. They only watery cancer woman I can remember is Crabmoon , who only had a Scorpio moon and since Scorpio anything is a no go zone for you, so its a no brainer. (even crabmoon had gemini venus and mars)

I remember the statistics thing I did ages ago had cancer women as the best match for cancer men. Looking at your chart and of most cancer women here, I can see why.

It's fascinating how much difference the birth place and a small difference to the birth time makes, too.

My dad is 18 mins ahead of his identical fellow saggie twin. Same ascendants. Both are sag sun/moon/ascendant/merc.

we share the same chart, I think there might be a difference in degrees, pretty sure we share the same aspects. He has a Leo asc though, while I have a cancer asc.

I would say he fits the leo asc profile very well. When it comes to physical appearance, i've been told i'm the pretty one and he's the sexy one.

I am Mars in Gemini,Venus in Leo. But the real player here from that sense is the moon in aquarius which just craves all things different. If I just met a normal very nice girl, I would just be friends with her. We would never get past that. My moon in aquarius won't let me do it. But this girl I am talking about is really fun and she is very different, stands out in a crowd. My moon in aquarius certainly digs that.

My last girlfriend was Cancer, she was more than just my lover, she was also my friend, guide, the whole thing. I always have a soft corner for cancer women because they are soft and you can't bear the idea of breaking their heart. I have also met Cancer women who are utterly insane and out of control, alcoholics, overdoing drugs etc but usually there is an underlying emotional problem which an understanding guy can fix. Cancer women definitely have a lot to offer. If watery cancer women were plain in expressing their feelings I would like that but they generally can't. It's not the depth of their emotions which bother me, it's the lack of proper expression which suffocates me. I like to talk about a problem and solve it, very watery signs don't, they would rather just wallow. Scorps are definitely out, I have a bad feeling about every scorp I meet, I have no idea why. They make me very uncomfortable.
