What do Cancer men do when they are shelling?

My cancer man seems to need the safty of his shell a lot these days. that ok with me as i like my space too. But i have to say i'm curious, what do they do when shelling? Do they go about life as normal, except with their partner? are they in a bad mood or pouty? just curious.

When mine does it he's sulking. He's productive when he just needs alone time. When he sulks he is lazy as hell.

From my experience with my Crab, when he likes to be left alone it is not connected with the partner, but being physically alone. Last time he told me he had been in the garage all night fixing his motorbike. It is hard not to take it personally but it is not personal, it is just NECESSARY.
