what does it mean when a cancer guy...

I am a Leo woman and I have been dating a Cancer guy for4 years the 4th year on and off, the last time we spoke he said he needed some space, I threatened to never call him again and he got quiet for a min and finally said " I just need some space" so I told him I will give him all the space he needs and left it at that. I found out through a mutual friend that he might be interested in another woman( she's actually friends with my cousin) when I asked him about it he admitted they kissed but nothing else. I started to date again because I figured he's moving on and so should I but I still love him and want to work things out. I sent him a text saying " can I ask you for some advice?" In regards to the guy I'm dating just to see if he'll respond. Well he did! But basically gave me the green light to date, I acted nonchalantly and just said thank you for the advice and he didn't respond. My question is does that mean he's over me? Is there a chance he might come back? Thank you in advance for your responses.

@crabcakesandmayo I'm not playing games with him, I was just trying to see where's his mind is at in regards to our relationship.

@Cranbrook I have in the past and he doesn't give me a straight answer so I guess I was looking for what his actions were gonna say, but you are right I might've made him jealous unintentionally, what can I do to rectify the situation and win my sweet crab back?

I guess I don't consider it cheating because we've been on and off for a whole year he did say in the previous year that he doesn't want a relationship but then he kept giving me.mixed signals so our relationship was basically in limbo and then he finally said he needed space, which I've read in other post crabs usually don't like to loose things or let go so there is a chance he might come back , and from what I said even to me it seems pretty obvious he's done with "us" but I guess it's just wishful thinking

You don't need the green light from him. He's dating or kissing or whatever other people, and so should you. He doesn't need to know about your love life. He isn't your best girlfriend. Ask your friends for advice, not your ex of 4 years. Stay strong girly and just let him go for now.

Lol 🙂🙂 sounds like him I remember I called him and he said he was gonna call me.back when he did, I didn't answer and he kept calling. I'm so confused with this cancer man, don't play games but yet they play the most games, they're super sensitive but don't give a crap how you feel, don't make them jealous but it's ok for them to date a girl that's friends with your cousin so you know it will get back to you. Oh and did I mention my parents friggin love him and his parents adore me, especially his mom. ...I need to do some serious thinking maybe it will just be easier to just move on

seemingly he has moved on ! and i think its a character flaw ! if someone wants to break up with someone they should stated it directly not claiming to have some spaces or creating the distance !! i mean hellp u two been dating for 4 years ! at least he should have some respect for that

can u believe it ! in my engagment night she was saying that the weather was romantic and no body likes to be alone and bored so she went out with him to have a cup of coffee !!!!!! explain this to me plz and top of that SHE TRIED TO TAKE MY ENGAGMENT GIFT , even her aunt stared at her in a very weird way cause in my culture norms it is not ethical to take or to say such thing

I'm dealing with a Cancer. He tells me I am insensitive and the littlest things hurt him. Yet he can ignore my calls or texts and I have to not take it to heart. I tried not playing games and I respond and answer my phone just so that I don't end up "hurting his feelings" but nothing has changed. I guess I'll just start being way too "busy" now.

@mero thank you so much 🙂 it seems like the most reasonable thing to do ...ugh 4years of wasted time I was his first everything I taught him everything he knows 😉 lol he should be chasing me...smh

@cluelescancer yea it's funny when you write things out and 're read it you start to see stuff you missed he does sound very immature but I'm not gonna lie I still have love for him..only time will tell how real my love is.. thank you ladies for tour advice it was very helpful 🙂

From what I hear ignore him and reject him is the way to go...my cancer guy is the same way I shall try and see.if it will work, either way I'm chucking up my deuces and moving forward
