Help - confused by Taurus man!!!

hmmm, sounds like he doesn't know what he wants (yet being a bull he still views you as "his" possession). Did you reciprocate when he told you of his feelings? I'd say leave him to it lest he trample your huge heart. Don't do the friends thing with him, I know as a Leo its all or nothing for me. For some reason i'm thinking he has venus in gemini 🙂

Oh btw, I'm a Leo also in a relationship with a Taurus both in our early 40's.

Idk. I think after he told you it wasn't going to work he probably meant it, then the intimacy happened and you then pushed away. For some reason it's reading as a blow to his ego a bit. I'm sure at some point he expected you to really wonder why it wouldn't work, be down about it, and try to push for the relationship etc. but you did what you wanted with him and kept it moving. Now he's like *wth happened here? * and is possibly trying to get the ball back in his court again.

Or he's realizing he jumped the gun too soon by saying it wouldn't work. Maybe that was a move made due to insecurity. If you really had a good time socializing with his friends, was confident, comfortable, non dependent on him around HIS group then it could have made him feel someway, and now he realizes that it was a mistake to push you away.

Sounds like he's at war with himself. I wonder if he has a sun square moon or a Gemini/Sag Venus...

He's probably just as confused as you are.

He's already told you what he wants...minimal commitment and minimal effort, while receiving the complete opposite from you.

His sun wants to be fair and give you commitment, but his *whatever* wants the ease of bachelorhood.

Haha it just occurred to me that he could just be lazy or having a lazy moment. I've passed on crushes because I was simply feeling lazy and didn't want to put in the effort.

OR

He operates in spurts of energy. He chased you and waited for you to chase him. When you didn't, he freaked and began chasing you again.

OR

He thrives on drama in relationships or he's used to drama in relationships. Everything was going well, so he concocted a challenge to spark things back up and now he's interested again.

Insightful comments all of you thank you!!! Just thought it was odd him saying the the guy saying that I'm too good for him, and he agrees? Is that the great Taurean insecurity or him fishing to see my thoughts on that?!?

I know too at times that I've been guarded, good old Leo pride, which is why I didn't start bawling and crying when he said it, just kept my cool and then 'acted' ok. My view, if you don't want a relationship I won't bring out the big sales pitch and try to talk you round!

Fact is though, we have a great bond, each date has been brilliant. It was my birthday the other week and he must've have spent A LOT gifts!?!?

Fact is though, I really like him, I think he's someone I can fall in love with. Think I have started to, but I'm also proud and won't chase after someone, especially one who's said, I dont want a relationship. 😢

In terms of the 'talk' we plan to have, me being me, I'd rather listen to what he has to say, and then be honest about my feelings. Is this the right way to approach a Taurus male - I don't want to have my guard up anymore. If he still feels the same then he needs to let me go and I'm walking.

Oh No! One venus placement I would never go near again. I was with a Taurus man, venus in Gemini last year - flaky, fickle, loves the beginnings of relationships, talk the love stuff to you, brilliant with words in fact a veritable shakespeare, worse is that he even demonstrates it, as in actions and words, so you're hard pressed to know if what he is saying and doing are in fact true. That Taurus did almost exactly what your guy did, then hit me with the can't be in a relationship stuff. They thrive on the sweet stuff at the beginning and seek it out constantly, that's my take on that venus placement anyhoo 🙂 IMO you're better off without any involvement with this one.

Hehe guilty. That's all I'll say!

But aside from her leo sun, their fairly compatible. They've got the Venus-Mars connection and Moon connection. I wouldn't be surprised if they were somewhat similar. If it weren't for her Gemini mars and Sag moon, I would be telling her to run. They are compatible-ish. Her Gem mars should keep his Gem venus entertained, which it clearly is, if he's not letting her go. Her Virgo venus can easily please his Taurus sun.

Find out why he's divorced.

Oh and I will add that for me, with my Gem venus, sometimes I need to "voice" my concerns out loud before I'm ready to commit.

Regardless use your intuition and do what is best for you and what makes YOU happy.

Update....

I was out with friends on Fri and he texted me a few times and I replied, but I ended the conversation as I was out and didn't want to be rude to those I was with.

On the Sat morning I texted him saying I think we should have space. I said it was too hard to be friends when there were feelings involved. He said that the feelings would subside, and would I please be his friend as he loves me too much.

He then emailed me a song, which is essentially a love song. Made me cry listening to it and reading the lyrics (I didn't tell him this though). I sent him one back, a song that means a lot to us both and I said listen to it. He said I can't, it will make me cry if I do!!!

I texted him to say ps. I love you too! and he replied with a x

We've agreed to meet up sometime in the week to talk.

If I'm being honest, I feel that he loves me and he's rejected the relationship through fear of being hurt?? 😢

A close friend, Taurus guy (Venus in Gemini) once told me ... .. "I will never get married, and will never have children." Words of endearment will be there, for you, or anyone,
but they are "fixed," slow to move, and with this placement, it most likely will never happen with anyone. Generally, they can have numerous one night stands, rarely connect emotionally or physically with any woman on a long term basis .. but they CAN have tons of guy friends. Even his mother stated ..
