What's wrong with me? I'm Still in the same situation and it really hasn't gotten any better or worse. All I can say is that with each and every single person I've been interested in I am determined to make it work no matter what..... Are all leo's somewhat determined in making a relationship?
Nope
However, Leo's with Cancer placements particularly in Venus are altogether different in matters of the heart. (see Halle Berry thread)
Generally, speaking I am not going to put more into a relationship than the other person. I am quite lazy in that regard. I just buy nice gifts and hope you get where I am coming from. I am not going to jump through hoops, pass any tests, make any public declarations or let you treat me any kind of way.
I am a lioness. A fierce, fly, fantastic and fabulous one nonetheless. If you don't know it then shame on you.

I really didn't want to update because people were downing me but to answer your question.... NO I haven't stopped talking to him or spending time. He has still been coming over everyday twice a day. I haven't been having sex with him because I agreed to stop. His attitude has changed he's become less moody and more comfortable around me nut I think I fucked that up last night. Last night we were talking and he said he doesn't like explaining himself and I said I guess when you die you be happy because you won't have to explain yourself. I did honestly mean it in a joking way (because we always joke with each other in a crude manner) anyway, he took offense and was ready to leave but he did hug me before he left. I texted him and told him that I care about him and I never wanted to hurt him and he never responded. By him being a cancer I know that me making this one statement he is upset because cancers are always so damn sensitive. In any event I can't worry about that. I just have to take it for what it is and keep being me.
While this thread is not about Venus in Cancer here is what I know about the placement.
Venus in Cancer people love you a lot. A whole lot. They tell you and show you all the time. They tell you how you were the best thing to ever happen to them. They tell you how they don't know what they would do without you. They call you , text you want to see you all the time. It is wonderful being the recipient of this behavior in the beginning.
Problems tend to arise because they in turn need this behavior to be reciprocated. If your Venus is not in Cancer it will be nearly impossible for you to do this. It will become a full time job. Giving someone constant affirmations is difficult. Venus/Cancer people need it like they need air.
In my opinion, they would probably do well being with other Cancer Venus people. They could profess their undying love all day to each other. The rest of the world has to eat, sleep, go to work, use the bathroom you know...LIVE
Again, it is wonderful to be loved by these people. I am going to say it is like some kind of high. But what goes up must come down.

I couldn't find your natal chart so I don't kow your placements. Do you have Venus in Cancer? If you do, you would need to talke to WL, BGP, Enfant, Dimplez, Celtic. Half the pride has Venus in Cancer. The other half Venus in Virgo. A few have Venus in Leo.
Venus never travels more that 45 degrees from the Sun so your Venus placement (how you love) should never be more than 2 signs away from your sun sign. It might even be the same as your Sun. Which means you have Sun conjunct Venus a very powerful combination.
Venus is never more than 45 degrees away from the Sun. Venus rules Libra and Taurus, is in detriment in the opposite signs of those it rules (Aries and Scorpio), is exalted in Pisces, and in its fall in Virgo.
Oh and while Venus in Cancer may be too in love with love, Venus in Virgo is horrible also. Virgo energy in any placement is reserved and introverted. Even the tail of the Virgo glyph is turned inwards toward the main body, unlike Scorpio which has an outward turning tail. Introverted energy is frustrated in expressions of love unless something else is in the chart to help it out. Fire and water placements can help Virgo placements express itself more openly.
Thank God we all have Sun in Leo. The only postion that counts. The place where the Sun is at home. This is why people consider us flashy and loud and attention seeking. Nope we are just bright like the Sun. Even when we are down (WL) we all know.......

To answer your question and stray from the Venus cancer thing for a moment 🙂 I am determined to WORK on a relationship once I have made a committment to the relationship, if the relationship begins to fail I will continue to work on it until I can see that there is no further to be done, and then I walk away with no backward looks or guilty feelings. I am NOT determined to stay in a relationship just to be in one, I would prefer to be on my own until I meet someone who shows respect, love, care and to whom I reciprocate these feelings. I have learned to be on my own and enjoy it.

Both. Having the knowledge doesn't mean you will use it in a corrupt manner. As Wound(erful)edLeo said earlier, Venus in Cancer make you behave like an Idiot, this is having knowledge and thinking it MAKES you behave in a certain way. Nothing can make anybody do anything, we have choices, which we should make using the knowledge that we possess.

I use to believe the ven in cancer was horrible. As I am growing thru my pain I am accepting it much more easily and am better able to work with is.
Ex: This last week I got a big crush on the aqua man with pisces ven/moon. When he decided I was "geographically undesirable", it hurt my little venus heart. I still have a crush on him and "want" to establish a friendship, but I know my venus will want more. So my new found detachment is telling my venus to "no go there" cus it will hurt to lust after a guy who doesn't want to drive an hour to see me.
So, I've told my venus that I AM SO MUCH MORE WORTHY of a guy who is willing to drive the distance and to accept that this is what is and in short order my crush will dissolve. It takes practice but the ven in cancer CAN be trained!

im a leo and in any relationship i give it everything i have even when i know the other person isnt and i do so even more (if thats possible) if i really love them. i rarely give up and move on tho and there is my personal down fall
