anxiety

tell me, are there any other caps out there that are going through a really wierd time right now? are there any other women caps that find it really hard to find love and respect? to find a soul mate? that feel like others think they're just no fun? (such a lie) or they just see them a sexual objects? i feel like i'm going through this major change and i can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, which is a very strange thing for me since i am usually well directed. just curious..

Well Pato, im not a Capricorn but my Mars sign is in Capricorn and i feel the exact same way, especially with the love and respect bit. I just don't feel like i am being respected at a deep level and then i realised i have to respect myself to get respect from others. Quite ironic really. At the end of it all we have to respect ourselves anyway, regardless of how others treat us.

I think there are many changes going on at the moment. I myself feel like i am in the midst of a major change and that it is beyond my control. The reason change scares us is that we are suddenly moving on into the unknown. 'They' (you know, the elusive 'they' that everybody refers to when they are talking about popular opinion?!) reckon that high achievers find it hardest to accept change and i know i am a high achiever. Perhaps you are too.

thanks for the response. 2am..sounds like me, ha. i am very hard on myself. i expect too much from others. i also, believing that i expect too much, let others get away with alot and find that i'm treated badly on numerous occasions. i need to find a balance somehow. like you, right now i feel there are these changes that are out of my control. there are words coming out of my mouth, and things that i'm doing that aren't me. after this happens, i just am surprised of the occurance. it's wierd. i guess faith is all i can have. hopefully, this will all work out for the best and my direction will return. since i've found this site, i've been reading all the message boards. i've gotten quite a bit of clarity on things around me. thanks.

I am a capricorn and I live on edge, don't know why in crises I am calm and cool. but when things are going O.K. I am on edge. One of my xes said I always look at the down side of life so I can never rest. Don't know if that is true are not. She also said I drink to much, I know she was right about that.

So Old Jake, tell us of all your ex-es, who was "the one" - who blew you away?? and why??, "the love of your life"?? What happened - tell us Mr. Capricorn. And what sign was she!!!

P.S. Have James Tate and Den made it up yet— No word from him lately?? I think he's meant to be in Dublin soon and I want to meet that man in the flesh, if poss!!!

Sorry freebird we are not one in the same, He is a lot like his father, who would be about my age. James is around early 30's I am pushing 60 Im pushing it in Jan. as for wifes I buryed one divorced two. as for kids I have five that I know. I never was married to Dens aunt but we have a daughter. she was a leo. I have two daughters in Itily one in turn one in lucca. One in st louis and a son in nashville. If your english no I have never been to the grand old opria. I have not spoken to Den but james is pissed, do not know all the details, could be an age thing he is 8 or 9 years older than her. Den is a lot like her aunt, her aunt was a wild dog her mother and father good curch going people BORING. Her aunt was the kind of woman who would tell you she was not easy but she could be made. I will try to see him on saturday I do have his phone number but do not want to give it out without his promission. I know he has no e mail or computor. the computor is her's I trid to send her an e mail but it came back to me her e mail was hotfox13@hotmail.com but it was returned bad e mail. later

Thanks for filling us in on JT...we sure do miss him around here. I hope things get better with he and Den...or whatever needs to happen for someone to feel better. Enjoy your trip Jake and tell JT we all say HI>........

As far as major change, I believe I understand what you are experiencing. Being a Capricorn myself, I have for the last few months been going through some major changes. I've had a lot of soul searching, I went through a phase of self loathing too. I've been trying to turn myself into a proactive person, I've gotten sick of waiting for things to happen. There were things that I didn't like about myself, Some I've discounted, some I'm working on.

The girl I mentioned in my previous posts, that I've been infatuated(sp) with are speaking again. In fact everything is back to normal between us. In all my time I've spent with her, I've never been the proactive person. I've never risked anything or tried to make something happen. I really love this woman, there's just something special about her that draws my attention to her. She's a Gemini, and from what I've read, its a doomed combo unless you strive to make it work. But I think thats why I find her so exciting, she's almost the opposite of myself. She cheers me up when I'm down, and I listen to her when she has problems. She's been there with me through many things. She's my best friend, she means a great deal to me.

The mountain I'm going to climb is the one where she is at the top, if I make it to the top and she is there, it will make me very happy. If I make it to the top and she is not there, I will be happy knowing I tried for once. Really tried, and that I should have no regrets for not ever attempting it.

Change is all around us, all about us, but this month especially for us Capricorns, its in the Stars and skies. The winds of change flow around us through the days and nights of this Novemember, when we are through we will be better people because of it.

Well, first of all Pato, you must respect yourself FIRST AND FOREMOST. I believe that no matter what we have or don't have, self-respect and dignity is the one thing we can hang on to. Nobody can take that away from you unless you let them; and don't let them. Something strange is going on, i think the Universe or 'life' (or whatever we call it) is stripping things away from us for some reason. Perhaps for our benefit?

thank you all for your input into this strange situation. i also believe things are happening in the universe, not that they're not happening all the time, but they seem to be very strong right now. Libragirl: i agree that respect for oneself and a sense of dignity are the keys to a clear mind. but i also do need a bit of noncontrol though, because i think that is the only way to evolve into a better person. to let the universe have it's way with you. things that will teach us to evolve. coming out of the other end of a crazy situation going , wow, so that was what i am supposed to know. to take with me to the next phase of life.
i woke up this morning very centered. maybe just talking about things got me there. thank you all. by the way, are you all from Ireland? (when you speak of Dublin) or is that in the US?

Pato....as far as I know I am the only one from Dublin, Ireland on the board at the moment. James Tate happens to be visiting Dublin soon but he lives in England.

g'day mate. i have some friends from australia. cyclists that came to my town to train. they're track cyclists. uh,track racing in a velodrome. anyway..what part are you from?
would love to go there some day. like everyone else, i just love the accent. aussie's and kiwi's. i just adore the accent. how's life down under these days? you're coming into summer. we're starting to get cold here. nice to meet you. i've had major crushes on the aussie guys that came here, but i heard that aussie and kiwi guys are not very good to their women. any truth to that rumor?

Haha! I'm not sure! I don't think they could be as bad as some of the guys we read about on these boards. I think they're just like any other guy; you just have to pick and choose.

Uhm yeah, it's 'supposed' to be summer but it rained all day here today and reached a maximum of about 12 degrees, which is nearly winter weather, so it looks like 'downunder' is 'under the weather'... (it took me ages to think of that joke, lol). Anyway, apart from that, it is a beautiful country. It's very much like what you see on tv; dry, hot at times, dusty, lovely beaches and generally 'down to earth'. The upper part is warmer and tropical (I love it) and the lower part is more lush and a bit colder.
