i'm a gay female and befriend with cappy girl for 5 yrs already. All these times I knew she's the hardworking type, and she treat everyone the same, for example flirty joke around, being touchy with both sexes. Although I'm gay, I treat her in just a platonic way. Long short story, my instinct could sense that she's interested in me during the first few years of our friendship (I was still in a long term relationship with my gf that time) so I set boundary around me so that my cappy friend stop her obvious flirty sign and just be "colleague-colleague" interaction. It works.
Last year, my gf dumped me and I vent to my cappy friend. She does helped to cheer me up and supported me to move on. Like two, three months my devastation about the breakup slowly faded and I start to analyzed everything, including what my cappy friend had done all these times. It makes me grew feelings on her. Its crazy that I have to pretend I dont have feelings for her, I avoid her, while my body and my heart cant help that I need to reach her everytime she's calling me or needed help and smile and laugh at her jokes.
A month ago she admit to me that she used to have feelings for me but she sense something fishy so, she 'moved on'...and now she secretly like this married girl at our office, she said. I dont know how and what to react so, I just keep this unexpressed feelings in myself. I wish I could turn back time and not being so cold to her at the first place and go along with her flirt. Is she really already moved on from me?
