At the moment I don't feel super confident to ask for her number, or to suggest a Skype session since she hasn't responded to me in over a week. This is the longest we've gone with out talking since we started sharing messages three months ago.

Well anything could've happened in her personal life that she is not yet ready to share. She could've gotten to thinking maybe you guys have perfect chemistry online, but what if it's a flop in person? I think she's waiting for you to make it happen, that needs to take place first. Make her yours, or at the very least, unmistakable that you Want her to be Yours.

Thanks again to everyone for all the feedback. It's good to hear that by her not responding doesn't necessarily mean anything negative. Her distance could be anything really. As a scorpio, I already want to pursue her and become closer with her. As my intuition is a few steps ahead. But, I'm a patient person, so I will definitely give her the space she needs. I read that caps are not too emotional or too attached in the beginning. I'm cool with that because I can sense a deep love inside of her once that wall comes down. I don't know why, but I see a lot of virtues in her.
Today there was some positive contact. I had this gut feeling to just send her a sweet and gentle hi. I sent her a brief message that said "I miss your beautiful and humble vibe". She read it, and didn't respond. Emmediately I thought, "ok, she's not interested, move on now". But like an hour later, after she read the message, she responded with a "Thanks My Love".
I have to be honest that I got super happy.
I truly don't know what any of this means. I really like this lady and I will be patient in hopes to get close to her. We'll see where it all goes. In the end, anything could happen.
Just to be clear. I didn't mention the fact that she has many friends on social media as a sign that "of my god she's so cool". It was just aimed to get proper feedback. Someone with a lot of followers probably generates a lot of traffic. Why would someone with a lot of traffic spend more than 3 months messaging someone when they get so much attention from many people? I was just trying to paint the picture. I'm a grown man. I've experienced love and heartbreak. I'm not a fool. I know this could mean nothing. But then, it could mean something. You never know what life will bring you, especially if you have a poor attitude or close mind. I'm just being honest to myself and following a genuine interest and curiosity.

Suddenly the vibe came back to normal today. After I sent her a message, she responded. Then later today without me looking for her she sent me some really sweet messages. I still don't know why she was absent for a week. I haven't asked her and I probably won't.
I'm beyond happy.
Now that I experienced her being distant for about a week. I won't panic next time she does it again. So far I've learned to not assume anything if it's not coming directly from her. I have a feeling we will continue to get closer and closer as time goes by.
