Do you earn money to live or do you live to earn money?

I earn money to live.

I like security and stability more than anything to be honest. Money is good, but I've never been comfortable spending it. In all my years I've never really splurged. I think even if I was to win the lottery I would still work at my same job and I would immediately put that money in the bank. For some reason, I feel you can never have enough of it, as a financial crisis can happen at any time.

I too see money as a form of security and a necessary evil. I don't like to spend money unless it is absolutely necessary - I've been called frugal on many occasions. I do have a tendency to spend on others though when I see that they are in need, I get more satisfaction from helping others than spending on myself.

My Cap husband liked to make money, and spend it. He had a great work ethic, and loved his job. He also enjoyed the finer things, which I grew to like! He had excellent taste in clothes, jewelry, decorating. He decorated our house, it looked like something out of a catalog. As a Gemini, I was happy with this as long as I had a place to put my objets d'art that I collected while traveling.

both. haha. i think money is an absolute necessity though in this society (wish it wasnt so).
