I heard this growing up, mostly from family. I rarely come out of my shell regardless of who is around, and that lack of effort can come across as having no personality. I have personality, but you have to catch me. Sometimes I surprise myself with how witty and funny I am at that particular moment, but it leaves just as soon as it came and I'm back to my moody self LoL.
I think many of us have personality. We are just not "on" all the time like others, atleast that's my take on it.
Also, I can be silent for a very long time around others. I'm sure that's no fun to those around.
"I honestly think Caps are capable of the most personality facets than any sign"
I agree with this. I mean, we are the "father" of the zodiac, so we helped birth it all LoL(j/k).
I may get a little off-topic here, but
Sometimes, things have to be pulled out of Capricorns. Just because it's not on display doesn't mean that it doesn't exist in us, and I think Caps can throw people for a loop in that way. At times, I feel like I can mingle and fit into any situation without much discomfort because no matter what, I will be true to myself, and being true to myself can make me relate-able to others who are real. Look at Michelle Obama for example. I think she has amazing personality, and the surroundings of her upbringing didn't affect her, nor did her Ivy League college education because she's been centered through-out, yet she can mingle in any crowd you place her in. That's the uniqueness of many Caps.
...our personalities are very down to earth and grounded, which transcends in a way.
My first impression of my cappy was that he was quiet and
appeared uncomfortable around the group of folks we
hung out with. He only joined a conversation if he was coerced
or asked a question so it was like pulling teeth to engage him.
So yes, first few gatherings he appeared to have no personality
only because he lacked in social skills.
BUT once we got to know him, he started to show more of his
true self. He was very smart, pleasant, articulate, somewhat
funny (dry humor) and pretty much a know-it-all. So he did have
a personality, it was hidden by his reserved, shy outer shell.
Now 6 years later and having been dating for the past year, I've
experienced even more personality. He's actually very witty, more
playful and loves to sing & dance (nobody would ever believe that
about him if they just met him). And no, he doesn't display this
playful side daily, he must be in the right mood and in company of
his inner circle.
We talked about it after a few months of dating and he said
that somebody once told him that he appeared to be trying too
hard to fit in. So he said he never 'exposes himself' (insert devilish
cap grin) until he is extremely comfortable.
@canceritaBonita - You couldnt have described us better. That is exactly what we cappy's are like 🙂
I am a cap and I know I don't have a personality.

I have an outgoing personality when I am comfortable with someone, but I don't cast my pearls before swine.
lol...baby is this you?!
My cappy said the exact same words once...ya did it again capguy (chills down the back!)

I also don't think caps "lack" social skills, we usually can charm everyone, of any walk of life. But that doesn't mean we can be bothered to do so.But if they want attention or if they get bored just chilling out, they'll come over and use their amazing social skills on you.
ehhh...ok, its not you then 😉
Maybe I should have used "polished" social skills, but he definitely doesn't exhibit "amazing" social skills. But then again, he doesn't have to, because we all come to him anyways regardless of his skills...just pure raw charisma...right?
Think of a cat, they seem very regal and sophisticated and wise, yet they don't do a damn thing unless they want to. You can make baby noises and pat the ground demanding for the kitty to come over but they will just sit there and stare at you like "do I look like I want to bother to cross the room?" But if they want attention or if they get bored just chilling out, they'll come over and use their amazing social skills on you.
That's it, I'm changing my screen name to KittyCap 😛

What about CappyCat...PurrrfiCap...

Just like most people give up trying to get the cat to come to them, so they get off their own ass and go play with the cat, then the cat purrs and paws. So it was worth the effort.
But the cat rather be doing what? Figuring out how to get tuna out of you instead of the standard catcrap food?

Me /you in a room
you thinking about doing it
I am thinking about how many different ways from a math view point ofcourse.
Speaking of a Capricorns personality displayed in his/her later years, you all should see the interview 88yr old Betty White(sp?) did on the George Lopez show. Hilarious!
hum
So many good answers. Actually i was surprised to see that people here gets Capricorns so well! Filled me with warmth. Or maybe we are that easy to figure out? 🙂
Thank you for all of your insights!

I think Gayle King is a typical capricorn. Idk, do you think she has a personality? lol
I like her tho. Out of all the cap celebrities I think my personality is like Heidi Fleiss. She's so damn cool and chill and she likes to sleep, and yet she can work when she has to, just like myself. lol
I knew someone exactly like this, and I adored that about them, looked at them with awe and wonder about how they naturally did that, it was something I wish I could do myself at times!!!
cappy's are the opposite after 30+ then when they are like 20. It's like we 'wake up' or something, lol. I'm more social and easy-going now in my 40's than i was in my 20's. My rising sign is aries and I act more like that now 😛
For some reason, it feels like I'm going backwards in the social department. I was never outgoing, but still more outgoing as a teenager than I am now. However, I am more outspoken. I will speak up for myself whereas I use to let everything slide. I don't think I'll ever be able to shake the grumpy old lady thing. I was called "grandma" since I was a child LoL. Horrible.
Caps tend to have fairly refined personalities. Not too out there, which is great. Can't really stand over the top personalities.
Lol
Thanks for posting Sirb. I love being introduced to new Cappies. I never heard of him, but he seemed fun lol. I find it interesting how Caps seem to excel at sports. Although Im clumsy/lazy there are parts of me thats naturally athletic.
I was watching The Temptations performances the other day and David Ruffin was a Cap. I dont see him mentioned much when theres talk about Cap musicians/artists. People thought he had one of the greatest voices, and of course he had plenty of personality/ego lol.
They are cold and unemotional. I think thats the vibe they give off. Like they absolutely do not care.
I can't say for other Caps, but my social skills are superb. I am considered charming. Can it be the Scorpion in my III house? Lol

I would be happy to read EVERY insight to this, not only from Cappies but from any other sign. Just say it honestly please, so i can learn about the truth.
