Capricorns and work... ARRGGHHHH!!!!!!

Do you guys love to work? I mean really. The cap I've been talking to again loves his job to the point where he chooses to work double shifts. He also has a strange love affair with money so that could be part of it.

This guy is my age and just recently got a Benz (what the hell). He said that now he can go to work everyday and is actually excited about that. The day he picked up his Benz, he was out the entire night, arrived home at 5, slept for a little over 2 hours so he can be at work by 8 am. Arrghhh!!!!

Financially, he the most well-off person my age that I've ever encountered. He's extremely driven. It's mind boggling.

And I rather be addicted to work than drugs, alcohol or sex. Because neither of those things create or produce anything.

Oh yeah 😄!!!!! This is so a cappy thing and I love it! True, other signs may feel this way, but they got it from good old saturn 😉

You see, it makes perfect sense to most caps to be into something that actually produces something towards the future. Drugs are nothing by life-suckers, even if you are morally rightous after being addicted you are never the same.

Alcohol is perfectly fine actually ... in moderation that is 🙂 Anything over the top get lead to problems and I never heard any glowing remarks about being a alcoholic.

Sex is fine too, when commonsense is put into play 🙂 -- if you leave commonsense at the door when it comes to sexual anything, then you get actually what you got coming to you 😄 However, being addicted to sex sounds like an awesome thing, but there are health issues associated with this too along with emotional numbness -- no sane person would want to be emotionally numb when it comes to sex, only an addict.

I like my job, but come 5pm, cant wait to get the hell out !! :-)

Theres nothing wrong with hard work, it builds plenty of character. To me, its not about how much you get with what you earn, its more about how you can build your life based on what you learn from what you do -- if that makes any since.

im not advocating making it in an illegal way or anything, but its the end result that matters.
Money - what you can do with it and how you can live your life in a more stable, comfortable way through having it.
I enjoy my job, but i Work to Live, i dont Live to Work.

I don't think it's really about the money (tho' that IS a factor...cause it's a physical symbol of one's achievement). My cap friend tells me it's actually the 'rush' of being in motion all the time. They're fast movers and expert multi-taskers. Could be that they just like getting things done or could be that they just like the "motion". One Cap described to me how rolling up his sleeves and getting to work was akin to floating down a stream in a constant, fluid motion...not stopping for anything but constantly moving.

Btw, did anyone else notice that, when working, Caps usually have their ears plugged into an mp3 player and appear to be jiving to some internal rhythm?

yes, we do like doing stuff, being productive, working, money...my scorpio friend (sigh) said to me "i like how you are in a constant state of distress, it's very relaxing to me." this distress was a comment on how i am always worrying about getting something done or running late because i have to finish something completely before i move onto the next thing that i've overbooked myself with. we get really focused on things and people get offended by this (unless you are an inquisitive scorpio, a transfixed leo or an obsessed pisces), i don't know what to tell them. i guess i'm too busy anyway. we are obsessive workaholics, it's in our blood. i think a lot of capricorns just do it naturally but get used to the habit that all that hard work literally pays off and since we are kind of materialistic (in a pride kind of way) it doesn't hurt to be more and more and more successful. and more, and more, and more. no peak is ever high enough.

I like caps!! most are trust worthy, faithful and know how to take care of business. I love there ambition my ex was 23 had his own house car and business at 21 he also did tours with some major recording artist. that's what attracted me not the fact that he had all those things because I have my own but just the fact that he knows work is important and he strives to be the best is so damn sexy to me. I don't mind my man working hard as long as he can provide me with a good time when he is free and his working is paying off....now if he is always out running the streets for nothing then there would be a problem but then again I am a Taurus they say we are the perfect match when it comes to our work and family ethics but that is their best quality in my opinion
