Capricorns & Compliments

Question,

Do capricorns give compliments very often? More so do they tend to invite you to contact whenever you need advice as a norm? I know a capricorn who is one in every sense of the sign, and the other day he told me that he thought i was doing an excellent job and complimented me on always following through.

Just wanted to know the norm cappy behavior!

I have to say that, I think Capricorns are one of the most sincere sign when it comes to giving compliments.

That's true, we only give them if we really mean them.

My experience? They seldom receive compliments themselves ( cuz they're Ninjas and people often wonder how a task was accomplished without anyone ever seeing who did the work) BUT they themselves are not that stingy with compliments.

My analysis is that Caps give compliments for 2 reasons:

1) To nurture & encourage someone whom they deem as having potential

2) They genuinely appreciate a job well done & want it to be known to that person

Folks are often pleasantly surprised when a Cap finally does give a compliment because it came from someone they didn't expect at all.

Btw, is it just me or does anyone else ever notice this? --- Caps seem to notice the most minute things that a person does and often give compliments for something which everyone else seems to take for granted & doesn't appreciate?

I once worked in an office with a Cap man who always thanked the cleaning lady every morning because she empties his rubbish bin everyday. Everyone else ignores her. The smile on her face is pure gold 🙂

I try to give compliments when I mean it. I think that would go for most signs though.

ha ha I do that sometimes. Afterwords I question myself if that compliment was appropriate.

The one thing Caps need to work on is how to TAKE a compliment!!!! UGH! I feel like such a phoney when I tell my Cappy co worker that I like the way she does things and she'll just stare at me like "are you serious?" I feel so stupid when she does that. I shrug it off cuz I know how she is but damn it! I mean every word I say. I've laid off being "too nice" to her since. LOL She's still my fav in the work place though. Yeah that is true, we have a hard time believing that anyone would compliment us. That is one of our faults. Today, when some one gives us compliments, I just say thankyou and leave it at that. I am learning how to take compliments. 🙂

I only speak what I see, Capricorn's compliment are always well received by me. I like the sunsets, if we could put a visual to our moods, the sunset would be what I would consider as peaceful.

im glad to hear caps compliments r genuine . The cappy Im n love with always gives me compliments usually on things most people dont notice. I thought maybe he was just striking a conversation. My friends r under the impression that he is gay. I think he's just a sweet guy who knows how to charm a lady..

Beowulf!!! My Ninja guy🙂 Yes, whatever you said above is very true especially the bit about the cleaning lady. Do you ever notice how the janitors, cleaning ladies, etc etc that do your "dirty" work so to speak NEVER get appreciation. So what if their work involves cleaning your garbage or cleaning the bathroom? They are cleaning YOUR mess, would you rather do their job? I think not....therefore, it's important to make them realize that w/out them we'd essentially be screwed....

the cap i know is not good with either giving or receiving compliments. subtlety is his specialty. he compliments me through action, not words. it's actually very complicated so i don't think he is a good example... i do know that whenever i compliment him, which is often, he usually completely ignores it but one time he couldn't hide it. it was too cute! a mutual friend of ours commented on him being cute, i then placed my hand on his arm, looked at him directly, and said,"awww, he is!" in front of the entire group of ppl we were with. he literally began to curl up into a ball in his chair, attempting to conceal the smile on his face from everyone.
