Caps in Relationships
They say they take it slow... Which is true, they have the patience to wait for you when they desire you as a gf. Sure.
I dated one for 3 months and my aloofness started to get to him lol. He would cry about me not being affectionate and why I couldnt just drop my whole schedule to see him, and then I finally let him kiss me after 2 or 3 months and it was awful. NO CHEMISTRY.. He was a true gentleman! Just not the gentleman for me!

Most of the Cap men in my family are slow moving. They take a while to marry. Could be dating you for years before making a decision. They do like to go out sometimes but to the same places, no variety. They are all hardworking, long hours. Same job forever. When they are in love, they like to include you in everything, bring you around family.
Most are quiet do not talk a lot. When they do same tone a voice. I think most get along with Virgo women, though they are fond of Genini women as well. Probably bcuz she is exciting yet non-emotional. I don't think they like the emotional women.click to expand

The chase was over and he was doing absolutely everything to please me and apparently wanted to marry me. Signs of an unevolved Cap apparently. He was acting totally smitten. I wanted to see the other sides to him, which I eventually did - and didnt like much AT ALL. He was VERY jekyll and hyde.

Posted by thefierybullMmmm, yes, I'd say I approach relationships (serious) slowly. If I'm going to invest myself wholeheartedly into someone through good times and bad, they need to be someone that I can see myself being with long term. It takes a while to really get to know someone on that level.

I don't understand how some people can just jump into a relationship so fast. I get how it can work for some people, just not me.
Posted by thefierybullI've only dealt with one Cap but I've seen two sides to him. Drinking and not drinking, very different. However, thinking back in the last 2.5 years regardless of the above, he's never let anything run out and takes care of our needs.

Yes, they are slow to commit, can be cold and aloof, and sorry ...can be all about themselves sometimes.
Because they are so "efficient" and "emotionless", sometimes they miss the chance to really connect. Seemingly, everything needs to serve a purpose and be useful, even certain topics of conversation. My Cap has Scorpio Rising and can come across as a real marker sometimes!
They demand respect, and subtly control pretty much everything 🙂 Think carefully if you want a boyfriend like this. It's not easy.

Posted by whatthecrabPretty much. I personally take it really slow. No kissing on first dates, am really cautious about who I get involved with. Would rather be friends first, lovers second. And yes there's the whole breaking the ice part because there's a thick layer of ice on me. Maybe not as much as on other Caps, so it depends.
They are really affectionate people once you get past their 3 layers of shyness, fear and loneliness.
