To be honest its just not December, even first two weeks of January are impacted. People are too broke for two gifts or divide up presents you'd get during Christmas and get it for birthday.

In my humble opinion??_
It does NOT suck having a birthday so close to christmas. I get asked "Does it suck having your bday so close to christmas?" almost as much as I'm asked my birthdate.
My favorite response??_ "It only sucks when I'm asked if it sucks" Yes, I really say that because it's true enough for me. Use it fellow Xmas babes??_ you're welcome.
Here's why it's a great time to have a birthday:
-Almost the entire month PLUS is a celebration. What the heck is not to love? Seriously??_ steal the thunder a little bit. It's fun. People LOVE celebrating birthdays over or alongside holidays.
-Family has no excuse. They're always around to celebrate your birthday.
-I'm not five anymore, people. Do I look five years old to you—_ I could care less about gifts. The whole bday/xmas gift combo complaint is beyond me. That's arguably an ingrate's mentality. I'm more of a giver anyways. Plus, I get myself what I want almost whenever I want it. I'm not called a capricorn for no reason.
-A profound amount of good feeling is in the air around this time of year??_ My birthday falls amongst a meditation of the masses on the prior 12 months, hope for the year ahead, generosity, love, warmth, happiness, and a bunch of other nice adjectives.
-It's the most wonderful time of the year! *smiley face*
Just had to say this. I hear too much negative sentiment on this and I have never been able to agree with it. But what do I know!!! 🙂
