Do cappys calculate situations or go with the flow and deal with the consequences?

Ive been with him 5 yrs and watched from the sidelines how he is, he loved me in beginning but was too controlling and had unreasonable expectations from a gf. So he has her she makes him feel "safe" I guess but he has never moved away from me. His friends all know me and we go out together etc...just odd scenario. She thinks the sun shines out his arse though. Now thats she's moved to the same country I think she's gonna get a nasty surprise. I cant stay too close to him he affects my mood too much.

I like to call myself a strategic thinker. I suppose that could be "calculating" but to me the word calculating is a negative word. I've made bad choices, believe me, but I've learned a lot. A long time ago I was working a fun but go no where job and figured if I went back to my old boring job I could focus In an area that would launch me into another job with a much bigger company and better pay. That worked out perfectly!

I still like to think ahead And Because I always feel like I'm trying to move up the mountain, I tend not to be as much of a risk taker as I was when I was younger and dumber.
