Geesh! Just tell him it's over, that you're with someone else. Be clear, concise and too the point. Be cold if you have to.

+1 Not another of these stories...

but if he does something bad for himself?
I care too much, maybe that's the problem but i don't want to see him hurt.

Not... your... fucking... problem... anymore... It is just bluff to get emotional power over you.

My sister had this with her boyfriend (a Cancer btw). He would wait for her at the end of our street, call her nonstop and try to trick her emotionally because he knew "she loved him too much". He was hinting that he would hurt himself and that, and I quote: "He would see her in hell"
He never did of course (unfortunately) and for some reason they have been back together for at least 5 years already.

He is an absolute nutjob that is "so good to her" and who is very sneakily driving a wedge between my sister and I. He even convinced her I am mentally unstable even though he is the hypochondriac, borderliner and general mood killer. My dad, who is a very reasonable guy and peacekeeper prefers a 'keep the door open for my daughter' policy while my mom and I prefer full frontal combat. We switched to kill them with kindness.
I hope to stand at his funeral one day and be able to give a short speech saying: "I'm glad the filthy manipulative bastard is dead."
/Rant

But I digress...

The power of persuasion is in repeating yourself.
He doesn't seem to care about you, just about his own ego so there is no reason whatsoever to care about his feelings. If he is deluded enough to think that after the way it ended you still want him then he is in need of professional help and not your emotional reserves.
Those are for your new lover.

Don't spend anymore energy on him than it takes to get him out of your life.
If that doesn't work, ignore him. Don't cry (you are a Cap ffs) and be clear and cold about it.

my ex is pieces and the other guy is also a capricorn like me,but i don't know how to say it to my ex that i want to be over, cuz he didn't want to hear it that IT'S OVER

Translation:
"My Ex is a Pisces and the new guy is a Capricorn, just like me. The problem is that I don't know how to tell my Ex that I want it to be over/that it is over because he doesn't want to hear it."
