My teenage years were spent befriending young ladies whom I found attractive yet never had the confidence to ask out. I have changed over time but some things have remained constant.

The "generic" guy traits girls always look for in the "Perfect man", I had them in spades.

Honesty, Commitment, A sense of humour, Ambition, Goals, Understanding, Outgoing and Charming.

I was always amazed how they never saw these things in me and only viewed me as a friend. Thoroughly annoying.

Anywho, I'm a Virgo so the whole emotional thing is not my cup of tea.

On the other hand, I believe a Capricorn man may better suite this "Perfect man" title. Seeing as the balance well Self, Work and Emotions.

So tell me then, who do you believe best suites your idea of the "Perfect man"

One who aims to please...me and only me, in all ways possible (mind, body, and soul). Preferably with psychic abilities, dont you just hate having to tell people what you want. Oh yes, and I must find you attractive, no you dont have to be a greek god, but I want you to desire you as you do me. Without attraction, no matter how perfect you are, a relationship will never ensue.

I dont think you can place a sign to this. BTW, cap men are considered cold and evil in some parts.

The perfect guy to me is rather simple 😉

I want someone who is willing to build the golden bridge with me 😄 intimacy alone isn't enough, I need someone who has enough ambition in his gut to build a life with.

I want someone to understand me for who I am -- love, need, want ... all of it, for who I am 🙂

Honestly, I think the sign that resembles the perfect man is -- Aquarius i.e. Paul Newman (r.i.p.)

can't find the coke evan 😕

How can that NOT be annoying? Why do people specify a particular day for phoning and then not phone.....? Anyway he's toast at this rate.

because people usually end conversations with 'see you then, see you tomorrow, chat to you tomorrow, I'll call you right back, i'll call you tomorrow...etc..'
who takes note of the day, time, etc? if they call they call, if you bump into them or they seek you out, fine...surely no one's really waiting by the phone, etc , cos someone said they'll call...right?
When people say to me 'hey tried to call you yesterday like I said I would...' my usual response is ' did you? oh I thought you were just saying that...' *shrugs* but that's me ...

I know a taurus that broke a relationship with someone because they didn't call as they said they would...wow - that was really something 😕

seriously something bothers you just say...expected your call yesterday to discuss this and that before I get booked up or summat, etc...sleek, not demanding, to the point, they get a little slap 😉

Shaks, I am merely alluding everyone to the fact most women, well my age... don't know what they want.

They just give this generic outline.

The whole Psychic thing... errr... what happens if he gets it wrong?

I guess I can't help it if I'm ruled by Mercury and emphasize communication as the MOST important part of a relationship.

Aquarius, perfect? LOL
Every aquarius man I know is an ambition vacuuming slacker.

Cappysweetie, I think the perfect sign for you is Virgo.
No wonder Shaks gets thum PM's

I'm a cappy and to be honest, don't ask much. He has to be honest, committed, simple, a little bit of ambition, and loads of love. I'm not good with the whole emotion thing either, so maybe I come around as not being "girly" enough. I hear ya Cajun, I get the whole "oh, you can find anyone" but no one's ever come up to me and asked me out😕 I went and asked a friend out (a cancerian), that didn't go too well. He doesn't want a relationship and says it's not me, just that he's not up for long term...I just appreciate his honesty...🙂

That's an interesting pairing. I was watching the Redskins game yesterday and thinking how attractive Jason Campbell was and more impressed with his skills as a football player. Well I said, let me go check his sign. He's a Capricorn. And so I was like hmmm... wonder if he has a wife or girlfriend. His girlfriend is an Aquarius. Dec 31st and Feb 9th.

Most Aquas have good hearts and lots of patience and treat you like you're the next best thing. So, I can see them being a happy pair together as Cappies are loyal and loving.

So, I can see (cappysweetie) you seeing that in an Aqua (Perfect Man). One thing that impressed me is that she takes photos of him at ever game. She says she is making a scrapbook for the grandkids and knows that marriage and kids have to come before that. I am sure a Cappy would love to know that familial stability lies inside their partner.

And, I say that because there are a lot of people (myself) include who are not as familial as others. For instance, I (at this stage in my life) should not be considered a candidate for building a family FROM SCRATCH with. I have two boys and am only interested in marrying a man who has children already or who does not want children of his own because I am not interested in having more children. However, for the right man I probably would but I can pretty much be considred to have surrendered my life and dedicated it to being a mom for life. Some women look forward to that. I can't say I do. Not even a little bit. I'm grateful for my boys but I am so done birthing babies.

OOPS! I missed this

I can see you point Ms.A 🙂 Especially since you have already had children, you feel a bit different about things. See, do have kids so my outlook is different only because I haven't set out to start anything seriously long-term to that level(well, in the case of actually having children with the guy).

i once thought i found the perfect man in a capricorn. he was 23 wit his own business, own house, car, and was making big moves, he was honest and a gentlemen and we shared alot of the same views...BUT....here's the ugly side he was very demanding, everything had to go his way, told me what i couldnt wear out, what friends i need to drop, we argued about every single thing and sometimes he just acted like a ass hole because the sky wasnt blue enough lol ok ok but we would argue all the time and i really hate arguin i dont mind a good debate but he almost made me want to kick his ass one day just cus i didnt want to do something wit him after he held out for a week...and i said no 1 time how dare he.
