No one likes a liar I get that.....my Cap had his boss do some really shady stuff today and boy is he mad. He got lied to, he came over tonight to hang out but he was SO mad he couldn't enjoy himself. I sat and listened to him and assured him that he was doing the right thing and that I was sorry this person betrayed his trust. I've heard Cappies do not take lying lightly...what if anything else can I do for him? Never seen him like this!! He told me tonight that it wasn't me he just wanted to get home. I understand that and he said it wasn't my fault when I told him I was sorry this happened. I KNOW this isn't my fault I just told him, if they hurt you they hurt me....

Adding my 2 cents...no they do not like being lied to or "played" with in any way. That is why any attempts to trick a Capricorn into doing what you want when you want them too never turns out good becuase they have a keen sense for deception. Another reason for people to be their true selves with them because they can sniff out phony, fake and ulterior motives like freaking blood hounds. LOL

I love hearing your thoughts Pidelight, love picking your brain! He is still fuming. He asked me to look into some tax laws for him while he was at practice. Interesting, he is always the one trying to find the answers, so it is nice for him to look to me for help. Makes me feel needed!

See!! We need people! We have this rep for being way too independent. But we need a sounding board, a confidante, a new perspective, someone to listen.... and all that jazz!

I found out my ex-boss had lied to me; he was running a visa scam under the disguise of not-for-profit/charity organisation. And he used to treat all the migrant "workers" very badly - write them off easily; pass nasty, discriminatory comments; and steal all the credit where they had slogged to get the job done. I left when I found out because I cannot stand exploitation. And I was pretty disappointed after then and had given up on humanity.

Its good he has asked you to help him, which to me sounds like he is looking for solace and empathy. He is greatly distressed because not only has he been lied to, it happened at his work place = his worship place! And its almost sadistic having to go back to work the next day. You could do something to take his mind off it? And if he is up for it, maybe discuss next steps, strategy, etc - we love making plans and creating solutions.
