stench in my dream..

so I had a dream yesterday..which starred people in rl and the ones I know (which is rare for my dreams..)

anyways, so I was walking with my mom through the night market sort of thing until a black or spotted cat sort of attacked me from behind..
I was wearing a black long coat (which I wear, too, in rl as well)..and this cat bit the belt of the coat..and I shook it off..but then it came back on me again and this time bit on the very end of the coat sleeve..

the cat was no where near to cute or anything like that..it was scrawny and not tamed..just an astray cat..ferocious, too..of course it hasn't bathed obviously..and I could smell rotten fishy like stench from afar..

and now the cat bit off my coat..the stench became all stronger at once..and my brows furrowed in a sheer disgust..

the smell was so real..rotten, decaying..fish, offal.. the stench..
I have smelt things in my dreams..but last night's was the strongest..

if so, what kinds of smells? & how strong?

p.s. and probably there isn't much meaning behind the dream above, but if there is, then what would it be? ..the dream sounds quite nasty to me lol.. dark, night time, with very dim lights, I was with my mom but for some reason, I was not in a cheerful mood..then there were two cats..and one of them attacked me..shame that I cannot really tell with certainty if the cat that attacked me was black or other color.. if it were black..then it'd make all things creepier..? lol
