I also want to say that we can add some depth to this conversation.
Attractiveness is highly dependent on geography, social norms, beauty standards of that region.
I will focus on geography
For example, I live in an unfortunate area of Ohio where I could maybe be considered an 8/10 because I am not physically deformed, a meth addict, have all of my teeth, in a normal weight range, have hair on my end, clear skin etc. The bar is fucking low is what I’m saying
If I go to the south, like Texas maybe, instant 5/10. The women are hotter down south
If I go to Australia— I’m now a 3. In good lighting. I just don’t stand a chance in hell.
It’s all relative 🤷🏼♀️
I think it's synastry too
Like some men at the club make a beeline for me or only have eyes for the others who I don't consider to be at the top lookswise
Joe Torgerson slid in my DMs after I followed him despite his ex being Taylor Selfridge (likely bc we're both Geminis)click to expand

Attractiveness relative to your surroundings.Posted by nanochipPosted by MidAtBestWe are all getting old. How are you coping with the idea of slowly losing youth/good looks as time ticks by? Have you been able to come to terms with it? While not hideous, I’ve never been a person who could rely on my appearance for anything, so it’s just business as usual for me. This seems easier to process than a person who has been gifted an easier life, in any aspect, for their beauty.Posted by nanochipNano I vow to attempt to stop tarnishing the Gemini name at least somewhat, in the hoe posting and looks obsession sense (& whining about my family, former romantic rivals, & ex "trauma")
DXP women hotties we already know over the years. Fortuna is no doubt beautiful, and someone I’ve always thought very highly of beyond her beauty.
There are handsome men here too. Rabbit, Taniwha, ands, kimboslice, boomshaka, my ex from here, etc etc.
Men don’t often post their photos, so I just remember them from memory.
I won't let you down 🫡

Yea for sure. I feel like women do have it a lot easier than men in that regard, where you can be incredibly average or become overweight and still have zero problems finding a man for relationship or sex. My weight has fluctuated my entire life and there has been no shortage of men at all stages. The QUALITY of person is whole other story. People, both male and female, are generally shit across all tiers, I imagine.click to expand

I vaguely remembered you lived up north in Cleveland or something? Fortuna moved to Ohio a while back. Maybe there are more of us here than we know. I believe that another user lives in this area, I am not sure if it was stardustmopped but one time someone asked me if I worked at a factory here, so they had to know of the area.
The low cost of living here comes with some serious consequences - rampant hard drug use and violent crime. I’d rather pay premium prices and live in a clean, safe area. The jobs here are damn good in terms of hardware and aerospace though…. That’s what brought me here. I haven’t heard of the croissant place, but I’ll look it up. Always want food recommendations, as an equal opportunity fatass.
Where I live in AR was a LOT nicer than Dayton. But no jobs. Also I like Cincinnati more than here, I don’t think it’s so bad. If I stayed in the US, I would like to move to NC though I heard it’s not affordable anymore. Didn’t you move there a long time ago? @thesithrogenclick to expand

The entire Raleigh-Durham metro area is growing well, is pretty progressive, and safe but slightly boring. It's also only a little less affordable than Asheville.
Charlotte is pretty unaffordable (for what you get/QOL) and is having a lot of problems managing it's growth. City/county government here is borderline incompetent. Plus it pretty soulless. It's like the Applebee's of cities. It pretty much exists only to support the banking industry.
Asheville beautiful and is the land of dope smoking, AR15 toting, libertarian drag queens, which is awesome, but it's ridiculously expensive.
Greensboro is fairly affordable, and while a smaller city has a lot of amenities plus a nice arts and culture scene. We were looking at possibly moving there if/when housing prices stabilize and mortgage interest rates drop. There's also the PFOS/PFAS problem with the water there. Turn on the tap and Teflon comes out.
Wilmington is nice but is just a decade away from being washed out to sea.

Thanks for the info! I have heard really good things about several of these areas. I had a couple job interviews there (Asheville and Raleigh if I recall) but didn’t get an offer so ended up in Dayton. My salary is very high vs the COL here, but it’s just not worth it to me.
The worst thing for me aside from the drugs and violence and poor condition of roads/dilapidated buildings everywhere, is the weather. I can’t handle it being cold like 8 months out of the year. It’s really awful for me. I am actually from Houston originally, so you can imagine the different climate here than what I am used to.
I’m not going anywhere until my dog dies though. She’s 11 years old half Great Dane/mix so we are really getting up there in age. Vet actually gave her 1 year to live back in December 2023 but she’s still kicking lol.click to expand

I don't really know much about that one. I guess more research need to be done on that. And I can't speak for other men on this problem I do feel like I've aged forward before my time like nature is rushing me and I already feel like I'm in my 70s even 100 sometimes. But here's where the problem lies. People still talk down to me like I'm still young I know I can't possibly look 10, 20 or 30 years younger than I am but that's how most people see me as. A young kid. Other men my age get the old man treatment but not me. I don't know, I probably do aged like fine wine in the eyes of people but um iii, dunno. I dunno if I agree or not. If I do aged like fine wine to people that's good and if not still good I don't care.click to expand

One of the largest, if not largest paved bike trail. Do you have a bike? Lots of protected green space, even if it’s flat 😅 low COL. It’s not San Francisco but there is a decent foodie scene. Have you had Vals croissants?
No but honestly there’s some really cool people, you just have to find your group. I can understand why you hate it though. It’s hard not drive off a bridge when the sky is grey for 8 out of 12 months.

@thesithrogen

I’m stardust. I’m from Cincinnati area.

I hope you stay safe… people get hit by cars often where I live 😭 there’s a new lack of patience and empathy in this world that I haven’t seen or ever been aware of, anyway.
