If from Hermes it’s Amber Narguile
But it smells like a couple
Oajan
And
Versace Santal Boise
are straight up copies
I couldn’t choose a favorite but I’m wearing Le Labo Santal 33 today. Generally have to stick with woody, vanilla, leather, creamy. People compliment me when I wear Valentino and BR540. People loved BR540 so much I stopped wearing it because they’re all wearing it now.
Sometimes I wish clean girl scents worked on me, especially in the summer, but I think they work better on people with a more acidic or metallic body chemistry. My body odor smells like baby milk.
Prada and Dior
Azzaro Pour Homme is my all time favorite, I always have one bottle of it.
Lalique Equus is nice too, but it has become hard to find

I am in a circle of business owners but they’re definitely more well off than I am. I only keep like 3 full size bottles at a time and then buy decants. There’s so many fragrances I want to try in my lifetime and there’s no way I’ll get through full bottles of all of them.
I like Ariana Grande Cloud too. I think it does a good job of giving off a similar vibe to BR540. My friend that does my hair wears it and layers it with other scents and she smells divine

Funnily enough, I was introduced to it just recently as I happened to stumble upon this one lady's review & she described it reminisce of "man glaze"! 😅 I was like, say whaa!? Coincidentally, few days later someone happened to wear it & promisse you, it took all my might to restrain myself & not do this....
And I rarely.... I mean, super rarely like a man's cologne. I dont know what it is with man's fragrance but 99% of them give me headaches. Women's too but not in a such high percentage.
In conclusion, I definitely think you should get it. Plz reprt your findings 😁

Herod has been a long time favorite of mine, but definitely something I’d prefer to smell on a man. Eventually, when I’m over my bitterness, maybe I’ll stop by to sample Althaïr which has a dominant vanilla note that might make it a bit more unisex.
I blend my own using essential oils as I’m not keen on chemical perfume

There's so much overlap in fragrances. Everyone copies everyone. There's 4091 copies of Creed Aventus now, and Savage, some are better than the originals though.

The fragrance line thats the most overrated is Tom Ford- except Oud Wood, the best cologne I've ever tried. I've tried their Tobacco Vanille, Tuscan Leather 🤮, Lost Cherry (smelled like Dr Pepper- the only other one I didn't immediately throw out), and bitter peach. All synthetic trash

I want to like Fucking Fabulous so bad but I haven’t been able to make it work on me yet. I don’t hate Lost Cherry though.
I have been trying out Byredo Bibliothique too.
This is the description: One spray is enough to bathe the neck in the atmosphere of a world suspended in time. A world of old books, the scent of their leather-bound pages arranged on dark wood shelves.
I can see why it’s their best smelling candle but I don’t know if it works on me.

Thats what pisses me off, the price of sneakers considering their shit construction. Its the worst leather with a plastic coating lol wtf for $ 300+. 😆 then you can't break them or it hurts the value. Like I dont want to buy shit shoes in the first place, now I cant wear them either. Its like a problem that solved itself.
Some of the middle eastern houses have some decent scents. Shoot, LV is the only one I haven't ventured into yet. Im probably going to find some good clones to see if its close what i like or has enoughdifferencefrom what i have, and if it is ill probably drop the big money for the quality. At least there's no excuse for people to be walking around stinking these days lol.

It’s the nomad oud stuff I can see being hard to replicate but even then they can get pretty close
My barista buddy spends a chunk of his wage on middle eastern cologne lol I think he made me try nitro red once when it came out and the oil is stickier than a normal designer fragrance on skin

click to expandThere is no way I'd blind buy any Oud, let alone from a clone house. Oud isn't the easiest to pull off anyway, IMO.
The blues are the only clones id recommended testing the clones first.
Lol I was going to say in my last post these middle eastern houses they overcome quality by cranking up the intensity. I've only gotten a few, but they project louder and for longer most of the time. It really does make sense its middle eastern lol.

Cool water in 97 was my first conscious fragrance choice like not gifted by family members
2000s Clinique Happy (gifted by gf) and L’eau par Kenzo (1 bottle lasted me four years of college)
When I graduated 2006 Acqua di Parma Colonia but I was trying hard to be an internet gentleman at this point 😅
I think I still like that cologne style tbh kind of the way I like dress watches and tall skinny women coz they were my firsts 🤣

Most of the ones I really treasure or gravitate towards in my small collection aren’t very work appropriate, so those unremarkable ones do come in handy when you’re working in close proximity and don’t want to put people in a chokehold. lol

There is a note in it that gives me bug spray or hamster cage vibes. I think it’s the cedarwood. It’s definitely a more polarizing scent. Would recommend getting a decant and trying it out before purchasing a whole bottle. Would probably be better for a cooler night out. I’m going to tuck it away for fall and try again.

It’s very sweet and sticky, possibly cloying. I have Qahwa in my cart, because I find Montale Intense Cafe too strong for my liking, but these fuckers just released Dukhan and now I’m stuck.
French Avenue Royal Blend comes super close to Angel Share, my brother is obsessed with it.
Extrait concentration for around $ 50, you can’t go wrong.

My sister has two from Montale, I think, and the first time I saw it on her dresser, I went for it thinking it’s body spray for a refresh cause it was like 90 something degrees out, the regret settled in real quick. lol
I’m not familiar with Mancera, but I’ve heard good things about them.
