These 4inch Heels Are SO CUTE But I am SO TALL

UGH! I am about 5'8. Maybe almost 5'9. I love heels! The new trend of 4 inch plus heels with the hidden platform is SOO cute and sexy. I love them. However, when I wear them I feel so awkard because I am towering over everyone like Lisa Leslie in the WNBA. Most of my friends tell me that I should not care and rock the heels anyway. But I just feel so awkard.

Anyone else have this issue?

Just wear the heels, so long as you can walk right in them I don't think anyone cares.
Except midgets, and you can always rest your pint glass on their head while you re-apply your lip gloss etc if that's the case.

Right! The issue is that when I wear 4 inch heels, I am almost the same height as any man 6 foot and under!!! Lol.

Don't worry it's not an issue just own it. Don't walk around looking all self conscious. Heidi Klum is like 5"10 and I love her in heels.

You're not tall. Everyone else is just shorter.

That's what I tell myself about my weight. "I'm not fat, everyone else is just skinnier" lol It makes me feel a bit better.

I used to think that I was sooooo tall. I'm 5'7. I never used to like wearing heels. Now, I can't go without them. The first time that I started wearing heels it seems as if they helped me stand straighter and more erect. They actually BOOSTED my confidence because I feel all feminine and strong. My grandmother was 5'11, my mother is 5'8, and my aunt is 5'9. They all wear heels. One of my best friends is 5'9. When she is around me, she makes sure not to wear flat shoes because she says that she hates appearing shorter than me. LoL. Go ahead and rock those heels girl! Long legs are stunning!

I say with all the others to 'rock the heels' and just be sure to be confidant and sassy! I am 5'6" and I love the 4-5 inch heels. It's all about you wearing the shoe and the shoe not wearing you! 😉

you know whats hot? if a girl is actually taller with the heels, not too much, like maybe 2 inches, it makes you look powerful and i wouldn't mind her show off her sexy legs ;P but im 5'7" so idk

Girl don't you know a tall girl ALWAYS gets noticed? We will knock a short girl out the box!!!! I felt the same way because I am 5'7 & I want a pair of Louboutins SO bad!!! But they are at least 4 to 5 inches! I'm just going to buy them & just be tall & georgous!! 🙂

You are 5'8" which means you have nice long legs. Well wear the 4"heels and really show people what legs are all about.
Not sure why you are so insecure about your height. I know if I had long legs I would feel much better than the 5'5"I am.
