I have a love/hate relationship with food.
For the most part, I definitely don't eat quickly, I pick at it and have small spoonfuls. Unless I'm on some sort of raging binge, then I pretty much just demolish any food in my path but that's a rarity.

It depends. Sometimes I eat my food fast and other times I take my time. I used to suck on my food while playing with my ear lobe, super slow eater.

My ex ate fast, but I always thought it was because he was former military and they are trained to eat that way.

I don't know why but I really eat quick & fast..
even when I'm not starving lol
it's hard for me to sit down and enjoy..savour every subtle tastes of food
..just like me with reading..I tend to keep several books around me and hop from one to another
sometimes when I go to a really nice place..like an upscale restaurant run by a very famous chef..they serve me food..and I eat..but then after a while I tend to find myself quite bored.. lol
like, yesshhh this food is nice, the place is good, and the nice atmosphere..but hasn't it been like for 2~ hours already? when will this dinner thing end??
..maybe this is why I like to stop by fastfood chains lol and yessss, I know it's unhealthy lol
but then I don't really lead a healthy life style ..I have tried, but failed :/ trying to live a healthy life rather caused me much more stresses...and probably those stresses would contribute more to a possibility of me getting a cancer from eating junkfood..? lol
also I like buffets..they offer lots of different dishes..that perfectly works for me since I love to try as many dishes as I can.. and it's true for me that even if the best dish ever gets tired eventually...can't eat the same food over again and again and again..!
I like sandwiches...or something similar to that from my country's cuisine
guess it's because I can have them while I do something else at the same time...multi-tasking people say I heard lol
and it's quick..I grab it, get up & go...
this, however, sometimes proves problematic..especially when I happen to dine with people who are more into a traditional? proper way of having a big dinner
I get fidgety while they try to keep up with my speed of which I clear of food on my plate lol
lots of times, it ends up with me early finishing my portion, waiting for the people...and whilst they're still at the table..I start to talk lol
and by the time they're finally done with their food..I have become a bit hungry again from having talked so far 🙂
it's good..because then it means that I could have their desserts, too, including mine! lol
