This is perhaps a continuation of the Eliot Spitzer thread -- but why is it that Gemini actors play such quirky characters/even bad guys?

I'm thinking of the English gemini actor -- James Something or Other -- who plays Malfoy's father in the "Harry Potter" movies (and also played the villain in "The Patriot" opposite Mel Gibson). ::Shudder:: Totally malevolent. And let us not forget Jonny Depp who always plays morally ambivalent folks, as well as Helena Bonham Carter who was the evil woman in "Demon Barber of Fleet Street" as well as a creep in the latest "Harry Potter."

It must be the evil twin. Sorry to confirm the stereotype, Em Gem, but Gems *do* seem to be in touch the "dark side"! (Which makes them superb actors).

Okay, OKAY!

I'll try to be more fair....

Saggie actors also play a lot of bad guys....examples: both foreign actors in "Eastern Promises" (starring Vigo Mortensen) were Saggies, and played terribly wicked people; also Tom Wilkinson, British actor, has played a few baddies and he's an archer...

Perhaps it is *dual* signs (Saggie, Gem, and Pisces) who are good at being bad 😄

P-Angel,

Have to agree that Hopkins is truly chilling. And aren't there a lot of real life scarey Cappies?

Errol Flynn, perennial flirt, also a Gemini.

Appreciate the nod to Libra Viggo Mortenson. Loved seeing his naked body in the shower scene -- perfectly symetrical 🙂 and he's got the Libra chin dimple to boot.

In my informal estimate of the signs most likely to be actors, Libra, Gemini, and Sag took the top three places. Figures, given the extrovert communicative nature of these signs.

Also, plenty of Gem actors playing *good* characters -- Laurence Olivier, for one.
