I've started a relationship with a Virgo girl (yes, I'm a girl, too) and it seems to be going really well. I once lived with a Virgo male in a relationship, and we got on quite well, but I'm meant to be with women, and he was addicted to drugs.

That's cool....Well, because we CURRENTLY share the same planet it's like we're practically rommates already!! I think of all earth signs (I'm skeptical about Virgo in many astrological respects), I think Virgo stands the best chance with a wind sign such as gemini because we both have such a outwardly logical, and whimsical mindset, but you'll soon find out that with Virgo, things go a little deeper, though I know you guys...ahem...girls....should have some pretty good times together....I'm cheering you on!!
VE - good thoughts. Yeah, I think that my ex-boyf and I got on well for the same planet reason. We got each other, and balanced one another pretty well.
FE - haha, glad I could make you laugh. The ex was kinda cool, the kinda person I would love to have been friends with if our lives didn't go in a different direction in the end. The drugs WERE a problem, but it was funny... when my girlfriend asked me how I lived with a Virgo before, I said it was good and could have been quite harmonious in some ways.
I really like this Virgo gal. She brings me down to earth, and apparently I take her up in the clouds like the air sign I am :-) I'm cheering us on, too!
I can answer this from an outsiders pov, looking in, for I'm neither Gemini, nor Virgo ...
Gems would certainly bring out the adventurous and side of the Virgo, who would prefer schedules and routine. Gems would create within the Virgo a sense of NOT doubting an uncertainty, just be the Gems zeal and fearlessness of consequences, as the Virgo watches the Gem who normally lands on thier feet, eventhough, they jumped without a safety net.
Virgos would certainly bring out the conforming twin more often than the spontaneous one .. which would ultimately allow the Gem to follow structure, instead of succombing to the twin that just wants to take a leap of faith without recognizing potential.
So, these two could actually bring quality to each other. However, I do see one pretty huge obstacle in the path that could potentially be the deal-breaker over a period of time.
Mental activity is in serious opposition .. and Virgo's regimed mind simply cannot handle the Gem's fluttering from one topic to another, without any closure, or conclusion. While the Gem would become impatient and bored with the Virgo's need to mentally dot every I, and cross every T.
I should think if the two of you could understand how each other's brains work during "Discussion Time" of serious matters .. then it would be successful.
Gemini and Virgo, im virgo and im with DyarStra?e, i have a brilliant connection as friends but i have never had a romantic relationship with one, but my best friend is Gemini and i love her dearly
but again look at Courtney Cox (Gemini) and David Aquette (Virgo)
glad i found this post again. I'm sort of involved with a gemini at the min, nothing has really happened but i know it can, we slept together once but our current situation is baaaaad, so i dont know what to do? Wondered how your G & V thing is working so far?
So far mine, we have this unspoken bond of honesty, its brilliant i trust her a lot and i know she does me. I hear about Virgos not being risk takers and i agree completely, im scared to take the risk and get with her, baring in mind that i have jst arrived in Oz to do my traveling, she is still in UK, we have spoken online for days and hours at time and we want to see each other the situation is just hard.
My first real boyfriend was a Gemini, and it lasted for 7 years (age 16 thru 22 - he was 5 years older). It was a very easy relationship, but the bad part was the same as the good part in a way... we got on great intellectually, but there was no real deep emotion. Plus he wanted to be polygamous and I was against that, that's what broke us up eventually, but it wasn't a very painful breakup and we are still friends 40 years later. I think it's a good combination (could partly be because I have Gemini rising), but it depends on what you want. "Passionate," not.
A very good friend of mine, he is a Virgo. We used to be roommates (I'm a Virgo) at one time and while he was engaged to a Gemini. She lived with us in the house for a year before they married and left. The also dated for almost 6 years beforehand.
I did not find her to be a massive partier. She is very "social" and a humanitarian in every sense of the word (perhaps other aspects of her chart). He is a workaholic, being a conductor/composer for the Hollywood movie industry, yet somehow they find solace in each other. I think she helps him to let loose once in a while, be social and have a good time without worrying so much. He always jokes and says "well when she's ready to dump my boring *ss, I'm going to move back in with you Laurel." In all the time I have known them, 4 years ... I think they fought once or twice.
I also currently have a Gemini female roommate and she is definitely a partier, crazy, fun in a good way. She has taught me to loosen up and have a good time once in a while. I tend to be introverted sometimes and too focused on work. For a time my social outlet was quiet times with close friends and my job.
We get along really well and have great communication. However, I do sit back sometimes and watch her personality bounce off the walls with excitement. The twins... responsible and successful in career - completely undecided, uncontrollable and crazy with relationships (men). I'm reserved personality wise at times, so I just sit back observe, analyze and take it all in. Overall, she does make me smile and laugh. I have never found her crazy in a psycho way. Low conflict.
virgo males and female gems have amazing attraction chemistry in my experience, unfortunately she almost always lives in the clouds and he lives on earth, so no matter where they choose to live one of them is always an alien.
I'm a female Gemini (with Moon in Libra, Mercury and Venus both in Gemini) and I've been considering starting a romantic relationship with a male Virgo (whose Moon is in Pisces, Mercury and Venus both in Virgo). Is there any hope?
So... any thoughts on Gemini and Virgo?
