My first girlfriend was older than me... much older. 😛 (virgo)
her and my mother could've been sisters. lol
we dated for 3 years

now, im dating someone that is 5 years younger than me though... (aries)
and things are great, but i've found that i have a harder time approaching females within my age range...
either im waaay to comfortable and i end up coming across as a player... which i am not.
or i can be extremely shy to the point that some girls think that I am an asshole because I wont pay attention to them... at least thats how it comes across, but the problem is I kind of draw a blank inside my head and I can't make conversation...

i am not asking for help, since I am happy with my Aries girl, though i do wish sometimes she was a bit more outspoken, not only when agitated... which i do on purpose sometimes... with mixed results. lol

but in general, why is it easier for me to flirt with older women as opposed to ones my age... and is this common??

my boyfriend is a gemini and i'm one year old than him 😄. i know it's not a lot but it still makes me an older woman 😉

i don't know. the only gem friend i have gets with women of all ages. i've seen him get with a woman in her 30's when he was only 19. i've seen him get with women in our age group (such as his baby's mama). now he's with a girl who is going on 19 and he's 27. then again, he IS a total womanizer and admits to it. he's not a player, he just LOVES women. needless to say that his relationships are very short. the longest he had was with his son's mother but she left him in the end. he actually would have committed to her. anyway, going off on a tangent...

oh! i forgot to add that i see this more and more and not just a gem thing either. ever since i hit my mid-20's i started getting hit on by high school boys. i think it's become this fad to go "cougar" hunting. even though i am not of cougar age, i am still an older woman to them with more experience. these young boys want a woman who is mature and knows what she's doing in the bedroom. an older woman is thought to be more drama free and willing to accept a casual, sex relationship without strings attached. plus as a woman gets older she tends to be more comfortable in her own skin. she's often times more confident and emotionally balanced. she tends to know what she wants in life. i can see where these qualities are sexy to any man regardless of age but younger ones are especially fascinated.

I think its the loving women regardless of age, station, race, creed, religion. Theyre like equal opportunity employers. lol Not necessarily a bad thing, just is.

MENTAL MATURITY? GEMINI? ...i've only known geminis to play head games and cheat and lie. Someone said in another post that they want mommy figures to baby them through life so they can continue with their boyish facade. SO friggin true. That must be why they like older women. But not all older women spell maturity. And not all younger women spell immaturity. Expand your horizons geminis....stop being so shallow.
