So any Gem's get why people are drawn to you? I have people tell me I'm mysterious because I sit back and observe people before I initiate any Convo. I don't tell alot about myself.....not sure if that's good or bad? lol

i don't think observation is a bad thing. i do it a lot. especially, when meeting new ppl. you learn a lot about ppl that way. :] *off to observe* lol!

altho, come to think of it.... in my case, being an observer would normally suggest "blending in", not ppl being drawn to me. i blend in and go unnoticed. it's my super power. lol!

Because we are driven by Mercury, which allows us to be charming, intelligent, witty, somewhat bold but yet mysterious......

i'm able to go up to someone and just start a conversation. I have a dry sense of humor and love to make people laugh. I can also be very quiet and detached.
That's usually when I'm getting bad vibes from someone.

Lots of people tell me that I have this magnetism that draws them in. I don't know if there's any truth to that or not. However, I do think most Gems aren't afraid to
be themselves. Some people are so afraid of being who and what they are for fear of being rejected. Sure, we hate rejection too. It's just that we are more comfortable
initiating a conversation or injecting some humor; it comes natural. This ability projects confidence and charisma. Most people are attracted to those qualities imho.

With that said, we have our weaknesses too. It's just that more people as a whole value our ability to be outgoing. Confidence and leadership are attractive. People
are naturally drawn to those strengths imho. I know I am. The last thing I want to be with is a weak and insecure individual who constantly plays "the victim card"....male or female.

Hi Badass. You have nearly the same birthday as my best friend (she's May 24, 1979).

I'm a Gemini who tends to hang back, observe, and attempt invisibility. It rarely works, though. People always notice me! For some reason, they are often certain that we've met before, and will even ask how I've been since we last saw each other. It happened just today, when I was minding my own business at a shoe store.

"The more I'm on DXP the more I begin to realize Astrology is a sneaky, vain and narcissistic excuse to talk about ourselves and lately I been feeling really over the whole blowing smoke up our own assess trick.

Sorry, random rant but it's been on my mind..some signs indulge in this more than others, hence the amount of one or two particular signs on these boards...

Excuse me? Are you accusing me of being sneaky, vain and narcissistic? If so, you are completely off target. I simply responded to the OP's inquiry. I am in no way suggesting that
because i'm a gemini that's makes me somehow better than any other sign. I did even mention that I had my weaknesses. We all do. What I did was try to explain why i believed people are often drawn to Gemini's....it's not rocket science. I've seen it, I've lived it and had many others back up my post with their experiences being around me and other gems. This is not to suggest that ALL Gems are the same. That's like saying ALL Virgo men are insecure and play mind games.

And honestly, compared to you, I seldom post. So my need to "talk about myself" is pretty lame considering.

Astrology to me is simply intriguing. It's something to research and understand. It's not something that guides my life or controls it. My faith does that just fine.

If you feel this site is being misused and abused, and the posts contained within are basically posters "indulging" about themselves, why do you spend so much time on here commenting? Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

But what do I know? I'm just a vain and narcissistic Gemini who frequents this board on occasion when I'm bored; another trait of us narcissistic Gems.

Plus I love astrology good or bad and we all are on these boeads for one reason or another. Do people always think you've met before, though? It weirds me out, because I have a horrendous memory for faces ( I think it's an actual brain disorder, but my husband calls it "not paying a shit bit of attention") and seriously might be forgetting some of those people. Most, though, I'm certain I've never met.

what do you consider beauty?.. i dont value beauty on looks, physical attraction is a shallow attraction, its not a lasting attraction, i find it realy important that beauty comes from within, it makes you no more beautiful than the next conquest.. if someone shows signs of hitting on me based on looks, im not interested, get to know me then decide whether im beautiful or not, everyone is someones cup of tea and for some ya not...

theres truth in beauty comes from within, theres people on here with no photo`s but based on how they are they have that aura about them, but theres also people with attractive pics that can come across like they have ugly attitudes.. thats what i think
