I had an interesting episode a couple of months ago. My younger sister is sort of self-centered and sometimes makes snide comments, but I have always just let it all go, like a Gemini. She is 25, and in all that time we NEVER had an argument. Then one day she sent me an email in which she was asking for something I found to be selfish, while letting me know that I should honor her request because she doesn't ask for much for herself. Something about her attitude, my lack of caffeine, and my PMSing came together just right, and I let her have it by telling her things I felt she had been needing to hear about herself. She was bewildered and made peace immediately. I thought that was the end of it until we saw each other yesterday and she admitted that I had actually scared her and that she was still a little afraid of me because she didn't know when I might attack her (verbally, of course) again. She decided that she had glimpsed my evil twin. Would she have thought that about any other sign? I am just someone who had been too easy-going about too much for too long and decided where it would end. Why does my being a Gemini make it some Jekyll and Hyde thing?
