I don't know much about the life numbers but my Virgo ex-husband was a 33 and seemed to think he was God-like because of that. And the ex Libra alcoholic was an 11. Both of them claimed these were some sort of special numbers that made them somehow superior. I guess 33 and 11 keep them warm and snuggly at night now that the plain old 9 Gemini is gone heehee

here's why:
number 8 is supposed to love money and material things, right?. But i know a woman with that life path number who thinks money is stupid and anybody who loves money is superficial. she donates a lot of her money to charity. she can afford to live in a big house but she instead chooses to live in a one-bedroom appartment with her dog. she spends her money on other people but never on herself.
number 9 is supposed to be a humanitarian, right? I know a girl with this life path number and she is selfish as hell. she never lifts a finger to help anybody. all she cares about is herself. she will step on others to get what she wants.
number 1 is supposed to love competition, right?
i know a number 1 person who shys away from any form of competion or aggression. he hates drama too.
i'm a 9 and i'm ok i guess. i have a strong sense of justice and i like to help people out whenever i can but i doubt my life path number has anything to do with that.
1. the 8 woman is displaying the good side of the 8. 8 is about power. She uses her power for good - which will bring good karma, because 8 is also karmic.
2. 9 can be humanitarian, but the negative side is extreme selfishness.

It just goes back to the strive between the two, always at cross roads, always pick the right path, always chose one over the other. It's a matter of conscience and self awareness. We are given the right set of tools appropriate to our abilities, but it's the sheer free will of how we will apply these in life. So, as much as numerology and astrology is correct, when read with proper training - this is only a blueprint and probable of our reactions...in the end there is the free will, cirumstances and something or other whispering in our ear, 😉.
I can be nurturing, but I can be used as a someone's crutch too - my role will depend if I chose to be passive about my role or not. We all have certain predispositions assigned, but it's fairly easy to skip from Mother Theresa to Hitler, from genius to madman, from gifted psychic to deranged psycho...it's a choice of direction we, ourselves chose; with the tools we are given we can be either.
