Anyone a vegan?

i tried the diet of eating only natural foods, having sandwhiches with no meat and just pure vegetables and fruits and maybe a bit of meat here and there and while i felt and could think alot better, when i would work out, it would take me a week and even two or more weeks to feel completely healed again. one time is was probably because i had worked on one day more than i should and the next day worked out more, but then it too me 2 weeks + for my arms and body to feel where i could strain them again enough to grow. whereas, when i switched back to eating meat after a workout, i would heal completely in about 2 days, a little more maybe. i didnt feel nearly as well tho when i ate the meat, but somethings gotta give in the workout department. idk if it was because of some other factor that it took so long, but im wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

You should probably try to find resources targeted toward vegans and what they do to help fuel exercise.

The issue that you've come across is the lack of protein when you cut out meat. It's necessary to help with muscle regeneration. There are a few plants that have protein, but the most popular is soy. It's usually the go to for protein resources for vegetarians/vegans. Another is to reevaluate your carb resources. Those are just as important in exercising as protein is to help the muscles recover.
