I have been working out for a good amount of years and one issue that I have which I think so many women do is the belly. Now yes running and crunches tones the muscle and defines but there is always that part under your belly button that is the most stubborn thing on the planet. Crunches dont work, bike crunches dont work, diet doesnt either.

Who has some new solutions to getting rid of that section without surgery? I would totally love to try something new either an exercise or a workout all togehter.

I do pole dancing but the only thing that keeps my stomach flat is diet and I mean more along the lines of eating clean like Taurusb says as opposed to starving. I don't do exercise besides pole but still my core is really strong because of it. I tried the P90 Ab thing but it was barely a challenge compared to poling. I used to do literally hundreds of crunches a day and my lower belly was never flat. However, even with all the dancing it wouldn't make a difference if I wasn't cutting out a lot of unhealthy stuff from my diet. This is the first time in my life I've had my stomach super flat.

Everyone has skipped over the number one question. You say you've done cardio, but HOW MUCH cardio?

I do about 3 miles (fast granny walking) 4 times a week. I have really long legs though, and everyone tells me it's a jog. So okay, granny jog 3 miles, about 4 times a week.

Bump it to daily. How much time does 3 miles take, though? When it comes to cardio, the amount of time spent means more than the distance covered. Another thing to consider is getting that heart rate up. So if your current mode gets that heart rate up, fine. But if not, you should probably increase it to real jogging, not "granny" jogging (whatever that means).
