I've managed to reduce exposure to most xenoestrogens except for a few sources for other matters. Ex: coffee, some makeup, and birth control pills. I'd like to completely remove all xeno and phytoestrogens one day.
Only dairy is yogurt, no red meat, and absolutely NO SOY (phytoestrogen). Soy contributed to my endometriosis flares without any clue, as well as my Reynauds.
So far, I've switched laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, shaving cream, massage lotion, and sun screen. I don't use cosmetics much, but I would like to find some powder that would work (my mascara turned out to be fine). I color my hair, so I've found a professional organic hair dye that is about as estrogen-free as it's going to get.
I've had lots of issues finding the right products! Even folks who work in natural food stores are undereducated about estrogens. I'm having to make my own deodorant, because I never found anything that would work. Even the estrogen-free products still come in plastic, but...geez...there's only so much I can make happen right now! I'm still using regular dish soap, but I wear gloves. My big problems have been my skin-care products and my leave-in conditioner. I haven't been able to find suitable replacements. Coffee is gone, as is beer, but I've still been sucking down green tea like it's going out of style 😢
I choose organic meat and produce whenever possible and never heat up or store food or drink in plastic (also nearly impossible, because most everything that isn't produce comes in plastic).
I'm also using progesterone cream daily. How is your quest going? I'm going to check out your link!
