You must be careful, 1) have you had any head or neck trauma recently? 2) When did the pain start, how long has it been?
I'm a rogue doctor in training, i'm also a dentist so if you have any teeth queries get them in. This time of year it's hectic i tell you.
No serious trauma? And it started about a week ago. Couple days ago my friend kicked snow at me and some of it went directly in my ear lol? And i havn't had a dental check up in ages so thanks for reminding me.
Dunno mate, but you best have a doctor look. Let an infection like that run you could wind up with tinnitus the rest of your life or go deaf.
There is also something called "cluster headaches." They can be as intense as migraines, but have a different presentation pattern than migraines.
An anerysm that has a bit of a leak is also a possibility.
Get in to see a medical/dental type TOMORROW!!!!! if not sooner.
Forgot about this thread.
Yeah basically you were all right and it was an ear infection! Nasty
And thank god it wasn't one of those cluster headaches
😢
When I was younger I used to get ear infections in the same ear all the time too (like Luney was saying)
& I have a pretty high pain threshold so I would just ignore it ...until I woke up with blood coming out of it on day.
Now I'm like super paranoid about pain near my ear.
Hope you feel better!!!!! Ear infections suck. I thought we stopped getting them as we got older...NOT

I have these really itense really painful pulsating pains in my head that occur on the right side of my head around the ear section, i feel it's in my ear but the pain is coming from the head originally but it just makes my ear extra sensitive. It's not like a headache, when i shake my head it doesn't hurt like a headache would, and i don't think it's a migraine. The pain is really sharp and horrible and sometimes the anticipation of it is just too much to handle.
Can anyone help or know what this is?
