I have to replace a couple of door frames

whats the best way to remove the moulding from around the door without breaking it, so that it can be put back after the new door is hung?

Remove moulding carefully with Putty knife,Pull the molding back a little bit and just use the putty knife to cut the tape while keeping tension on the molding. It will come right off.
