Can someone give me the straight dope please?

I have been perusing the Leo forums for the past few months, but this is the first time I have started a topic.I noticed quite a few Leo's are on this forum and I'm hoping for some insight.Thanks in advance, to anyone who takes a moment to respond.

I'm a Libra lady who has been talking to a Leo man for about 4 months. We met while I was on vacation, and have been talking about dating and such. He came on VERY strong in the beginning, but I knew it would subside.. I was actually in a 2 year relationship with a Leo before.

So he is finally coming to visit in about 10 days. Everything hasn't been peachy, I have noticed some inconsistencies and something new coming up every month to delay his trip. I wasn't giving it a lot of pressure because my pov is, and has always been, that long distance is difficult enough and we only met once in person. Sometimes it's just a friendship thing. He has been adamant that he does not want to be just friends and even became more consistent with communication, which was a good thing. Around Xmas, I got a little frustrated with all the 'talk' about him booking his ticket, but days went by without his doing so. Why text me every day about it, but never do it? I'm cautious of unreliable people as it breeds lack of trust. I let him know this after Xmas and told him I didn't think it was a good idea for him to come as I was starting to feel he was stringing me along. Plus he didn't even call on Xmas,just a text.. Girlfriend maybe?? Well, he became very upset and we got into it. He hung up, booked his ticket right away and even emailed me the flight info. But now he's mad and said he would'nt be talking to me for a few days or maybe not even til it's time for his trip. He even sent nasty texts the next day. I didn't reply.the rudeness. He has been distant ever since. He called on NYE to wish me a happy new year and made it clear he couldn't talk long as he was going out. He said he would 'try' to call at midnight, but of course he didn't, nor did he call New Years Day. I haven't heard from him since and we usually talk or text daily, of which he initiates.

So is he gone for good? Why book the ticket in anger then act like this afterwards? Did he really book the ticket? Plus, I'm letting him stay at my place when he arrives. If he thinks not talking to me until it's time to travel is a good idea, he's wrong. Have I made a huge mistake by letting him come? Disappearing acts are no bueno

hmmmm, thanks for the reply. I don't know his birthdate so no chart 😢 I can see your point. I spend more time than a little bit weighing ALL options... smh. He said I hurt his feelings.. I apologized and we were still texting, but he nothing since NYE...I don't know what to make of it because I was really looking forward to him coming out before all this happened. To be honest, I've just been playing it safe because I didn't want to get too emotionally attached to someone if we can't see each other, so his coming out is HUGE for me, hence the frustration. I know it's only been a few days, but we haven't gone this long without talking to each other since when we first started talking..idk

Did I miss something here??..Are you SURE you're really Cautious to let someone that you only know all of 4 months and only met ONCE in person, INTO your home?? ...you think about that.

SN: If I were you, I'd tell him to CANCEL his flight. There is NO need to bring that attutude where you are. He's already huffing and puffing because he feels that you are rushing him to take action to book the flight, when he wants to do things at his pace. (which probably would have been Last Minute) FIXED signs move slow...I would know, because I'm a FIXED sign too (Taurus)..and we DON'T like to be rushed.

Sounds nervous but then again earlier tonight my judgment lied to me

lol we spoke last night... he called. Talked for about an hour... and he is still coming. Yes, he will really play things up for my attention... it's cute 🙂 We Libras hate to hurt anyone's feelings and will think about it longer than we should, as some will use it against us.

The irony of it all is that he is sooooo similiar to the last guy I was kinda dating long distance who was also a Leo. As soon as I broke it off with that guy, I met him... they are so much the same, it's not even funny. Only difference seems to be the physical, but both very attractive. I guess I could kept what I had for the trouble 😉 Just kidding... we have agreed we will just have to see what happens when he visits. Even if we end up being just friends, I'm cool with that. 🙂

@Huntress ... I think we are both nervous and we spoke about that. I think it's natural.

I keep bringing up being 'just friends' because I was in a relationship with a Leo for 2 years before. He treated me like a QUEEN... wined and dined me, gifts, flowers, cards, everything... but he was also a chronic liar which was why I finally broke it off. And yes, Leo men play their EXes very close. Even after the breakup, he called and text constantly even though I know he was seeing other girls. We would do lunch from time to time, but I didn't want to get back together because of the lying. I never caught him cheating, but a few things happened that made me suspicious. Last year, he messaged me out of the blue on FB to let me know he was happy for my success and that he had cheated on me twice... just not with who I thought it was back then -_- Mind you, we weren't even friends on FB so why the E True Hollywood confessions :/

I have my reasons for not trusting Leos so easily...

With being burned like that.. I don't blame you for not trusting Leos. I'm sure there's many more reasons you didn't list, too.

I also dated a Leo for years. Lied.. a freaking lot, about his whereabouts.. had his family lie to me too! Oh, drama drama.. I loathe drama.

My most meaningful relationships in life have come from the Bull; my grandfather, my mentor, a friend who I share a deep cosmic connection with.. 🙂

@taurusbelle hmmm, i've been giving it more thought and I think Im going to tell him not to come. Ur right, I don't know him ... and there have been some inconsistencies. My biggest downfall has been being too nice and understanding with those who didn't deserve it and who only hurt me in the end. Plus, since he booked the flight, his communication has dropped... maybe I'm doing too much in my quest for real love. I'm down with long distance dating :/

I love the positives of Taurus traits. My other grandfather is a Bull too, they are definitely slowwww to trust and I dont blame them!! Similar to the Scorpio opposite. Slooowwwwww to trust. Motto: Trust NO ONE. If they have other dominant elements in the chart, it might explain otherwise but the conflicts will be there.

as far as i know about libras, they are mutable signs. they tend to seek balance. they light to weight out the good and the bad. he probably waited last minute to do anything because he was holding out to see if you will reciprocate the same intensity he is showing maybe? but i cant really say until i see his chart

Libra is a cardinal sign (Cancer, Libra, Aries & Capricorn)

the sad part is, theyre always given the label indecisive. That's just because it's WIND you're dealing with, perhaps. All that air and switching to and fro. While fire cardinal can go one directional due to its strength. Earth, slow but sure.
