Right now I am going through a period of self love. But these periods usually come after looong periods of insecurity. It's not something that comes naturally for me. Something has to happen to make me realize that I am all I have and the only person I can really change is me. Nobody will ever do for you like you can. I really believe that if don't like yourself nobody else will. When this happens, I really do feel great about myself and I can go on to be there for other people.

When I am not feeling great about myself, it IS a facade. My pride will not let others know what I am going through. There is never a time that I feel 'the greatness' for no reason lol Actually, it's more accurate to say I feel content with myself.

This is a good question.

"Frankly, I dont completely share ur enthusiasm about Leo sincerity."

Of course you don't; you're not a Leo πŸ˜›.

"Not to say that they are fake, but they have so much of disdain for others, which creates an impression that they suffer from delusions."

Are you saying that we are overly critical of others because we see ourselves as being somehow above them, and this makes us delusional? I won't lie about it, and I know I can't speak for all Leos here, but sometimes I get in the mindset where "the universe is on my side" and I can do no wrong simply because I agree with my own point of view. (Think about it, I swear it makes sense πŸ˜‰). And, yes, I suppose that is very much thinking of yourself as above others. That was mostly when I was younger, though..I don't let it happen anymore..although I do think it is still a tendency. I just have to check myself. Everyone makes mistakes and has flaws...geeze, I must have said this 1000 times...but the reason I think Leos look down on others sometimes is because their expectations are too high. And, yes, you could also say this makes us delusional (expecting people to be moral saints unless proven otherwise when really it should be otherwise until proven moral saints πŸ˜›, or perhaps expecting our loved ones to accept us completely as though we had no flaws).

These were views of mine when I was younger. Upon maturing a bit, I see how ridiculous I must have looked to other people πŸ˜›.

Do I think I am great? Umm...yeah, in some ways. I am definitely not naive enough anymore to think I somehow have no flaws or that others won't notice them, though. As far as facades go...I don't put any up, besides being reserved around people I don't know well. With me, what you see is what you get (really)..and I know a lot of other Leos who could say the same.

Basking out in the sun sounds mighty good about not. Damned air-conditioned cubicles!!

LOL, one of you brought up a great point about high expectations and sitting on some moral high chair. Thank you for writing that! I felt like I was sadly alone with that. It's super annoying and I've been trying to be more realistic with people...sadly, the 'ew, I'm better than you' occasionally pops out! haha
