Warm, humorous, loyal, joyful, creative, passionate, generous.

Every Leo I have ever known has been all of the above, with zero exceptions.

That's because you haven't met me. I can contribute myself to the qualities above, but I'm also quite rational and practical. Oh, I can be pretty deep and dark as well.

Hello you! Perhaps I misread the OP. I thought she wanted to know if any of the GOOD STUFF written about Leos is true. I think the vast majority of the good stuff that's written is indeed true.

Even if you have deep and dark tendencies most Leos can still brighten the day of those they love because Leos naturally strive to bring light to others even when they feel dark inside.

A portion of the bad stuff is true, but I'd say it's grossly exaggerated.

Despite the differences I've found Leos to be some of the best friends I've ever had. Their warmth and generosity would definitely be a TRUE. What I've also found to be true is the "putting great importance on looks" stereotype. Every young Leo guy I know is big on going to the gym and staring at the mirror for a while and the girls are either visiting their hairdresser or their beautician. This doesn't bother me whatsoever though, my venusian nature sympathizes.

What I've found to be false with Leo Suns is the attention whore rep. They love having fun and knowing that they're the reason people are having fun, but they're no attention whores. They don't need attention or all eyes on them 24/7, and they won't go out of their way to put someone else down just so they can be on the spotlight. This one would be a false from my experience.

That's pretty much my experience. And I think the looks things goes into wanting to look our best for people especially when it comes to first impressions. But ya looking good is definitely my biggest downfall. Although, I can leave my house, go out or hangout with people when my hairs in a bun, no makeup and comfy clothes. I'm also a bit lazy and it takes too much effort, so that may just be me haha..

And @Jynga, I agree. I haven't cared or based my decisions off others in a long long time (except for the occasional crush). I'm just interested in the *gasp* I get sometimes when I say I'm a Leo

The one attribute that comes to mind, that always makes me cringe is when, for example, they say that if you're taking a Leo out (male or female) you gotta spend a lot of $ $ , that we want the best or that if you're buying a gift it has to be expensive and posh. Pfft. Puh lease. Of course I ENJOY those things but if a date goes through the trouble of doing something from the heart, or getting a gift or even MAKING a gift from the heart, that means more than all the money in the world. I hate the way Leo's are portrayed as money grubbing materialistic people. So Not the case.

Seriously! We care way more about who we're dating not what they have or what they can give us. Idk how many artist or "bad" boys I've fallen for. I can say for a fact that they had NO money but I enjoyed the passion 😉

I agree but not entirely. What matters to me mostly is personality & appearance, but also their financial position makes a difference.

Atleast have a job or go to school lol, it could be the strongest passion initially but thinking realistically I wont be satisfied with just a " housewife"

Ya I exaggerated. I want someone who is motivated and usually that comes in the form of school or work. I don't look for someone with money though or someone who defines themselves by what they have, it's actually the biggest turn off for me. I dated this Aries guy who constantly talked about others finances. He was awesome except for this, it annoyed the crap out of me.

My father was a Leo and I married a Leo. I used to look at my dad as he was being horrible unkind to my mother or beating me unmercifully through his rage and think that he was so weak for not having the capacity to express himself better. I thought those were just the thoughts of a child who required a much tender approach to her missteps. As an adult I became a clinical psychologist and my adult opinion is that there is a huge weakness in a human being that requires that degree of attention from another person to be fulfilled.

You all continue to describe it as ego, pride and a whole lot of other words that are inaccurate. They are weak and insecure. Lying under the charm, leadership capabilities and care for children, exist the inability to maintain a solid lasting relationship with women. My father's last words to me were he wished someone would have helped him fix his issues. That was an impossible task in the 40's & 50's when he and my mother married. I was the only of my sibling who stood up to him and subsequently would be the only one of his children around to care for him while he was dying. He was the same angry mean man he was in his youth. Afraid of his inabilities with a great need to be accepted.

Among the women that my ex had in his life prior to me, he would give me the the title of the woman that broke the beast. My goal as his wife was not to break him but, he was suppose to never forget that his disrespectfully behavior, temper, and secret need to be comforted by other women would leave a lasting hole in his soul. While he could be quite dramatic. This time the curtain closed on him. Don't let the weaknesses of the Leo break you. They are breakable.
