Stood up...again?

Hello guys,

Im gonna need you. It "appears" I may about to be stood up by the aqua who cancelled our original first date 2 weeks ago.
Last week he asked if he could join me at a Christmas concert I am attending in his city. I had just casually mentioned it and 3 days later he texted asking. So I said sure. he then invited me for dinner after. We spoke sunday night for 90 mins. I texted him weds just to say hi, had short chat. He made a joke about eating dinner with me as I have a sore wrist and cant cut my food.

And thats the last Ive heard from him. Concert is 3.5 hrs from now. takes me an hour to drive there. We've not made a time to meet or reconfirmed. I texted him 45 mins ago asking if it rainy there cus it is here and its an outdoor concert. No reply.

So...WHO THE FUCK DOES THIS? He is 53 fucking years!

It sucks to believe someone who appeared sincere just wasn't. What was it old GWB said..

Its 2:00pm here. Id have to leave by 3.30 or so to go. I will give him 30 mins more. I will give the benefit of the doubt of an emergency or something.

But, if this is what it looks like, I will be open to suggestions from ya'll here on how to handle it *if* he pulls his balls out of his rectum and contacts me. Obviously I will NOT contact him again after this.

But any clever passive aggressive retorts gladly welcomed.

This is one of those I know my value moments, dump him or at the least no longer make him or his initiating anything a priority, he's not valuing your time and energy.

When someone is late and/or not showing up for a date that's being terribly rude and also a signal he's not interested in dating you or anyone for that matter.

I hope everything worked out positive for you and he showed up yet I urge you to open your options and date someone who isn't blowing you off by canceling dates, your new motto should be no more excuses, no more making it about him and his drama, there is no excuse for standing me up, there is no excuse for canceling a date twice, I value ME more than I value his drama and excuses.

Its 2.40pm now. Game is over.

well...what do you know? He just texted. Said "Sorry. been laying down since went shopping with my daughter all morning. theres no rain here so your hair is safe".

So, poor guy has been laying down. Poor babyyyyyy. I texted him 2 fucking hours ago.

I think I dont want to reply or go. Im angry. and nobody will like me angry.

how do I handle this?

Im done. This is way beyond disrespectful. He's had all week to firm the plans and set the time.

BGP go to the concert, you'll have so much fun if you go and you may just meet a few single guys while you're there, don't allow him to steal your happiness, go have a good time, don't get sucked into his drama, no need to show him he's controlling your happiness/feelings by replying with a retort, he just really isn't that important, don't even give him the satisfaction of knowing he's hurt your feelings, treat him as if he's a non-motherfucking factor by not replying at all, matter of fact lose his number and block it, that alone says it all without you saying a word, he sucks.

I wouldnt give him the time of day he stood you up twice time to kick his ass to the curb and carry on.. sounds like he needs brass knuckles to the side of the head. I can see something important comming up but communication is the key and shopping with your daughter is not a good excuse Sounds like he just winged that one .. At 53 years old he has no excuse for acting like a iresponsible teenager.. Oh while your at it fire a few of them scorp missles at him in case he thinks of trying this again .. and you have every right to be a bit angry just don't hold it against the good guys they are out there 🙂

If he show up for the concert, blow him off like he's blowing you off, just don't behave like you give a fuck, being an Aqua he will not like that, most likely chase you all over the concert, Aqua men can be some damn emotional pain freaks and emotionally unavailable and emotionally lazy to boot, very complicated sign to date, they dance to their own rhythm.

Girl, you know what? Grab a bottle of wine at the store and go to Victoria's Secret or some shit. Buy yourself some sexy freaking skimpies and giggle in delight knowing that he's ruined his chances in seeing them on or off of you.

Book a hair appointment, even for just a blow out.

Im going to the concert, Im a have fun too. Its located at an outdoor, elegant shopping plaza tihngy in a high end part of town so I may just find that Victorias Secret there and but me some THONGS!!! If I could figure out how to upload my own damn pics, I will post em for ya all!!

another text from him asking what time to meet? guess he doesnt get it yet or doesnt understand how to dial a phone. looks like he is still gonna go. I turned it off. its a very small venus so likely I will see him. Boy wont this be fun?
