Trying to figure out if this guy is a leo

This guy I'm friends with has caught my attention. Tried looking up his sign on fb, but no luck. Was going to ask his birthdate, but figured why not make this fun and try to figure out his sign. Based on the way he acts I determined that his most influential sign must be leo, even if it's not exactly his sun.

He can be cocky in what he thinks he can do. Doesn't always like a person at first, but when he finds out more about you and realizes he likes you as a person he will stick by your side and enjoy your company. Very much a tease, but not so much that it makes me hate him. He knows when to stop and being the caring person when I need it. Like if I'm sick or need some encouragement. Likes to show off to his friends that we talk a lot and can be very showy about it on fb. Calls himself a king sometimes. Just waiting for him to claim the title of lion as well 😉 Always around when I need him, but independent and never clings.

So how about it? Does this sound leo to anyone? I'll have to ask him his birthday eventually, but I was curious to see what others thought first.

Then this person will feel in himself strong "issues" against society and majorities.
Not sure if cocky, but this person will feel that he's doing things always the right way.
And others should follow his/her example, attitude and/or philosophy.

Strong solar people quite often born in a conflictive environment, and life may want them to depend always on themselves and in their confidence.
Somehow they enjoy and feel good in this conflictive environment. (confrontation)

Hmm I dated someone like this for a long time so I am aware of the personality. This guy is a little more accepting of society. Although we do have good laughs about the stupidity that most people often have he is often the one just nodding his head in support of what I feel because I feel like while he does act cocky and wants to do his best, he isn't above listening to others opinions. He often puts blame on himself and dwells on his own mistakes. I knew a leo like this who used to take my advice in his artwork. Was very surprised at this, but it does show a leo can work with the opinions others give them.

I will have to get to know him better, but from what I have gathered from his straightforward personality he is nothing like the conflictive SOLAR personality I came to know in another person I knew for years.
This guy doesn't appear to be emotional, or momma's boyish like a cancer. He's not abusive and childish like a libra. And he's not a jerk like a pisces. And while I'm not against ruling these out as possible signs I just feel that the way he caries himself, (his regal-ness and his talk of bigger things and the way that he plans out what he's going to do) all reveals the traits of a lion.

Further note: I have known this guy for over a year, but we have just started being good friends in the last 5 months.

Rabbit didn't realize it was a crime to be friends with someone while I am with someone else. This guy and I have never taken things past the friend level.

Yeah the sag and I parted ways a long time ago.

Just so everyone is clear this guy (possibly leo) has my attention, but I never stated I wanted to start anything with him. Not ready to date yet, but I do enjoy the company of this guy. He makes me feel cared for.

I read on the scorp board that your ex-fiance' was a scorp. Was he the one from college that you dated just before meeting the sag? I recall you really liked him. I'm sorry it didn't work out. I know how hard it is to let go of scorpio love. Who knows, maybe a change in time it will work out? We never know, do we?

As a leo, I am self "concerning", that's for sure. But it's not the same as selfish or self-centered.

Selfish: I want everything for ME.

If there is one piece of cake left, I want it and don't give a thought to whether anyone else had already had a piece or is hungry.


Self-centered: I make everything ABOUT me.

You tell me about YOUR new BMW 325i and I turn the convo to MY new Porsche and how awesome IT is, instead of congratulating you on YOUR awesome car.

Haha uhhh surrree.

And in some ways he appears selfish. Like with his time he can sometimes just exit a conversation without saying a word. Have experienced this in the past with him talking with other people. He usually says good night after a conversation with me though so I know he can be loyal and unselfish if he enjoys being around the person. It's weird. He acts leon, but then at the same time I feel like he is very reserved at times (though at times he says far too much and likes to be showy). Not sure where the reserve comes from, but I'm sensing a clashing of sign influences.

This was the scorp with the gem sister who didn't like me at the time. And no I don't think I'll go back to this one (having given him a second chance). But I am open to anything happening and excited for whoever life brings my way when I'm finally ready to date seriously.

Haha the self-centered bit sounds like my sag friend. And the selfish bit sounds like my ex scorp. Come to think of it this guy really isn't selfish. According to him he always shows up at the right time. I admire a man who can show up when I need him. But sometimes I just want to slap him when it's so close to time and I'm starting to question. It's like he leaves just enough time to keep me interested, but gets there before I have time to get fed up and say screw it. He does stick to his word tho. That, to me, is golden.
